Outdated room. Need of new bed. Noisy area. Seems the owner family lives upstairs & the noise. Bathroom is small and water just goes everywhere. Holidays are supposed to be of memories not disappointed and horrible accommodation. The sheets on the bed felt like they had been washed a million times and so worn out. Kitchenette is old. Can’t cook what you want. Just staple boil an egg.

Dear, Thank you for your review but we would like to inform you that we know that you are from Australia and not from New York as you state in your profile which is fake. We know that you are related to the Lefkada area and you have never stayed in our company. You just wanted to do bad things and create a problem in our business. We have contacted trip advisor many times because your comment is intended to create a problem but they did nothing. Unfortunately we will have to answer you because we know that you have some personal problem and you want harm our business. This is also seen in the fact that you refer to kitchens that do not exist in any room. Next time be more careful and leave your personal information outside of businesses. Unfortunately trip advisor cannot protect us from people who have never stayed and want to create a problem. All this shows that it is not a reliable source of experienced stays.

Firstly I have a great affinity with Greece and her islands and have visited many of them. I ave also visited two other properties on this trip,(reviewed on trip adviser). I make sure that I always write a balanced review from my perspective. There are some real positives about this accommodation, for example, it is really close to the shops and restaurants of the harbour and the parking is really convenient and free which when you consider the charge for parking in Nidri is a real plus. The small garden at the side of the property I am sure would be good to sit and read in and there is a small library on the first floor. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were clean and the balcony ran across both parts of the room. Slippers and tooth brush were a nice touch. However, it is on the wrong side of town for the main beach and unless you have a car this would entail a long and inconvenient walk. It seems to be placed differently on the website we booked on which I will be pointing out to them. Therefore I would suggest this only as a base from which to travel by car to other parts of the island. The room itself was sold as a double but was in fact two single beds pushed together. Most uncomfortable for us. There was a coffee maker and kettle plates and cups etc but no sink or hotplate so couldnt cook or wash up. The tables on the balcony are too small to eat at. There was a small table in the room with a great big no smoking thing on it which when the cleaner came in she kept standing up again. I do not smoke and do not need this objectionable thing in my face at all times. The bathroom was small but the shower was so small it was claustrophobic. I am quite tall and a size 14 so medium build but it was impossible to bend down if you dropped the soap and the water was either really cold or really hot. The air conditioning was adequate but quite noisy and no use whatsoever if the cleaner left all the windows and doors open. The view from the room was of a half built building and the car park for the town. On check out a lovely grandmotherly lady came to check us out. She asked if everything had been olright and I explained some of the issues we had had however she kept repeating all ok. I understood when she stated she did not speak any English. Therefore this is my first chance to give my balanced feedback ad I hope it is useful to you when booking.…

I didn't expect in the place, with a such as high rank, so much disappointments. First of all, the owner tried to take total amount from my credit card one day before check in. But even in Cancellation Policy of the hotel stay: For any cancellation that takes places 21 days or less prior to the arranged arrival date, there will be a two-night cancellation fee. I have booked a room for a 4 night. The is no rooms with a double bed. They are placing two beds together and one is taller as an other. So it is very uncomfortoble for couples. Then, the are mosquitos in Nidri and the aren't anti mosquitos nets on windows or they are torn. So you should sleep with aircondition. Wi Fi connection is unstable and poor. You can't use a skype longer as 1 min (disconnection), even during a day, wenn most of residing are out of hotel. Towels are very rough. They are made from something called Egyptian Cotton. And the most disappointing was a water in the middle of bathroom, which stay all the time in spite of exist a drenage hole. Your foots will be wet all the time and you can folling down. I've asked the owner to fix that. He answered that he don't have a time for looking for a plumber/repairer. The result is that the owner of Athina studios just want collect your money and he don't care about you stay.…

The accomodation is well located, near to the main shopping street, but quiet. The owners are nice and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. In case we will go back to Lefkada, we will stay in Athina Studios again.

We stayed in Athina for 10 nights and we were very satisfied. Room was big enough and clean, comfy bed. Near to the centre but not noisy at night. Hosts are lovely people. Great place to spend holidays! Thank you :-)

We are travelling Greece for two months we stayed here on our way through Nydri. This accommodation is wonderful, ok it's not on the front, just one street back, but, it's a pleasure to stay there. The family are so helpful and friendly ,the beds and pillows are luxurious. We stayed in the family rooms, two separate bedrooms, bathroom and small but adequate kitchenette. All at a very reasonable price. We would recommend this place to anyone and definately return if ever this way again.

Location is in a street,near a cheap supermarket,were a lot of people with motorcycle and cars come,early in the mornig ,until late... for good shopping...It's permanently noice,a terrace with sun....In appartment is a kitchen where I could not cooked anything because is more than basic...no coffee maker,no pans.....I asked for a pan but I received a surpriesing answer: it is dangererous.....What it is dangerous?to make a fried egg for breakfast ??Or it's better to pay for breakfast????Refrigerator is very noisy,we can't sleep well.TV has only greek chanels.NYDRI is a bad choice,no beach,no quiet,no entertainment at all. There are more better choice in lovely GREECE.

Mrs Roxana, Maybe you have a problem with all island and specially with Nidri place. Our property is in the center of Nidri town,when you make a reservation we inform you for all about your room and exactly place. We give you a chance to cancelled the room without charge because you maybe you need something else your choise is change the room type. From the first time everything you doesn't like.At your comments the specially problem is the pan at kitchen, maybe you don't have holiday experience because none hotel included pan because is dangerous for fire and the smell is not good for other guests. You speak too offensive about our work of course we have a breakfast and we served you at your room every day. About a cooffe maker included in your room but with other lies you write one more.You broken the coffee maker and we don't charge you with broken door from toilet. About the channel of tv included 3 channels in English in the program.IF FOR YOU IS THE BASIC PROBLEM FOR OTHER GUEST IS NOT THE BASIC PROBLEM. Τhe next time be more careful with what you say.
