We stayed for 3 nights in January 2020 in a seaview room and would have stayed more but there was no space to extend. We had booked a garden view room but one look at that seafront and we could not resist the view and luckily a hut was free... The staff were discrete but helpful. The huts are close together so you need good neighbours but we were lucky...The place is an easy walk of a few minutes to the Tamarind dive shop so perfect for divers. Breakfast was great - would prefer no plastic straws or water bottles but that is the only negative....

We stayed here one night and decided to move on due to construction works being carried out on the premises. The Manager was upfront about the works and said we could leave any time. Having said that we liked Seaside Huts a lot. Nice room with comfy bed with mozzie net, good shower outside and well functioning AC. Pool is small and reasonably cool with a few recliners and 1 beach umbrella which has seen better days. The outlook is pleasing ss you can see out across the water to Mt. Agung but no beach here, just large flat rocks and seaweed. For surfers there is a nice long break out about 70 meters from shore but it did not look big. The restaurant only serves breakfast and is included in the room cost. The choices on the menu were very good with a mix of Indo and Western options. The Motel is quite of the beaten track and hard to find. It is a 20 minute walk to Mushroom bay. If you don't mind the sound of construction works then this a very good place to stay. They are building more bungalows so it should be even more appealing in the future. Cheers, Zac.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it ! Staff was very helpful with tours and helped arranging dinner bookings for us at remote resturants (free pickup and return) We ate one night at the "resort" and the food was very good. We can recomend the huts facing the sea. We will be back ! BR Richard, Christina, Östen and Lisa

Absolutely loved my stay at Seaside Huts in an ocean view room. The room itself had everything I needed; air conditioning worked a treat, no issues with mosquitoes or bugs, and outdoor shower is a treat given the heat on Lembongan. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is as close to paradise as it gets. Breakfasts were awesome and fresh (especially the juices). Komang and his team were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, arranging everything from snorkelling trips to scooters (70k per day). They even gave me a beginners tutorial on scooter riding before I set off, which is essential if you want to explore the islands properly. Even though Tamarind Bay is a little isolated from the nightlife of town, many restaurants on the island offer free pick-up and drop-off (Komang happily arranged several of these for me via Whatsapp, even giving me a lift on his scooter once) and Seaside Huts is walking distance to lots of restaurant options near Mushroom Beach (try the coffee at Mushroom Espresso). The beach along Tamarind Bay is partly rocky and covered in seaweed depending on tides, but you can trek to other beaches easily enough. Trek left and you’ll find a shortcut to Mushroom Beach (with great restaurants and bars), trek right along cliffs and you’ll reach Jungut Batu (the “main” beach on the island) but this track is still being developed and not the quickest walk; still a good option if you like adventure and want to explore without a scooter. Tamarind Bay is also close to Lembongan's tourist landmarks like Devil's Tear and Dream Beach (about 10 minutes by scooter). Overall, I loved my stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return. While you're in a more isolated section of the island, it’s easy enough to arrange transport elsewhere. Best of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and always trying to help (even with medical needs like a face mask for scooter riding). Highly recommended and hope to return!
