We actually loved everything about this place - very convenient location, big and comfortable rooms, excellent service and lovely staff running the place. Initially we planned to stay 3 nights but we felt so comfortable that we have prolonged our stay to 5 nights. We took an option with a breakfast and it has been a great choice, especially when you in rush to hit the slopes first time in the morning. Don’t hesitate to book it and enjoy!

We stayed in one of the villas for Christmas and had a great time. Cottage I was spacious and clean, with everything you would need for a family stay. Would definitely recommend a villa if you want your own space while in Happo, and it was a good base for both Hakuba 47 and Happo slopes - however, you will definitely need your own car as the villa was out from the main town and off any shuttle bus route.

The staff at Reposer were really helpful - picking us and our luggage up to take us to the villa, and then dropping us off at the bus station for check out. They also arranged delivery of our luggage back to Tokyo so we didn't have to bother with them on the train.

Stayed here for 6 nights whilst getting my powder fix. I think this just might be the best value accommodation in hakuba. Very convenient location and resort buses right outside the front. Rooms are pretty spacious, good drying area. Laundry facilities are free. Owner very helpful with the odd shuttle around. Front reception very friendly and helpful. My only gripe would be that the room was supposed to get a service which ended up not happening. Otherwise a1. I think I spied a self-contained chalet on the premise which I'll be enquiring about for next year

Me and my wife have just returned from an 8 night stay at the wonderful Reposa Hakuba. From the moment we arrived at the beautiful lodge just outside of town we really could not have asked for more from our stay.
With a cosy bar with open fire to relax in after a hard day on the slopes, the restaurant serving first class food to the spacious alpine chalet style rooms this really does feel like a home away from home.
The lovely breakfast served everyday was ample to keep us going to lunchtime and the food of an evening in the restaurant was so good we ate there 6 times in 8 nights!!
Thank you so much to all the staff at Reposer Hakuba for making our Japan ski experience so enjoyable and memorable (especially to our new friend Tak).

What an incredible place this was and I would happily return again and again. We used the Reposer as our base for 4 nights as we enjoyed snowboarding for the first time and it was as if the Reposer knew this and ordered a huge covering of snow just for us.

The high standards of Japanese courtesy and service were shown throughout from the helpful front desk staff, the restaurant staff (who produced an absolute feast for us at breakfast including the best scrambled eggs I've ever tasted! They also served up my wife a little chocolaty great for her birthday! 😊) and the owner who offered to take us in his car wherever and whenever we needed. Just perfect.

The hotel is a unique log cabin style so you're feeling that alpine lodge experience straight away. You are greeted as you enter the hotel by a crackling log fire and warming service with a smile. The rooms were spacious and toasty and who doesn't love a heated toilet seat!!

I can't recommend this place more highly. Thank you for a lovely stay Reposer!

We have stayed in Hakuba 8 times now and this was our first time at the Reposer and it will not be our last. This hotel offers amazing value, great sized rooms and fantastic service. Its only a 15 minute walk to the main street of Echloand and there are shuttle stops for most of the resorts at the Lawson shop that is only a 5 minute walk away.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience during are 3 day stay at the Reposer
Chalet in hakuba. The staff was incredible for the moment they picked us up at the bus station to the drive back to the station.
A big thank you to 2 people,
Mami Matsuzama was so kind going the extra mile to make me and my husband feel so comfortable during are stay, from driving us to a wonderful sushi restaurant in town to helping my husband make a important call to another hotel and helping as the interpreter.
Another wonderful young man on the staff I want to thank was Ryuta Omiya!
wonderful and friendly willing to help us in anyway, giving us suggestions in how to enjoy ourselves while we were in hakaba....Reposer makes you feel like family as soon as you enter in to this wonder chalet!
I will definitely be coming back on my next visit and highly recommend this place to anybody visiting hakuba!

Great place to stay just a little away from the crowded main areas in Hakuba. Room was spacious and food at the restaurant amazing from the specially prepared breakfast to the tasty dinner meals. As a smaller establishment I’m guessing this place would always feel like a calm retreat.

Had a really nice time staying at Hotel Reposer. It was our first time to Hakuba and didn’t know much about the area. We took the 7:30am coach from Haneda Airport and got to Hakuba base camp at 12:45 pm (Operated by Nagano snow shuttle, was great highly recommend it) Someone picked us up from there which was nice, hotel was just a few minutes car ride from base camp. We stayed in room 7 which was at the end of the corridor for 2 nights . It was a decent size twin bedroom with two big windows. (Couldn’t get queen bedroom at the time) Waking up with a nice snow view was lovely! Staffs were super friendly and helpful! The breakfasts were amazing and the lunch was good too. Location was not bad either, main area with pubs and restaurants is just within walking distance. It’s also near the ski/snowboard equipment rental places. Will definitely be back again!
