Steve and his team create a seamless Hakuba experience at the Snowlines lodge. The lodge has a small bar for guests and comfortable sittings areas to relax in front of the fire, comfortable rooms, onsen, lodge shuttle bus to the ski hills in the morning and 3 local evening meals per week. The lodge were very helpful in booking local restaurants, our transfer from Narita airport and luggage transfer and storage after our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again when visiting Hakuba.
We can highly recommend Snowlines Lodge. The lodge is warm and welcoming, Steve and team’s local knowledge makes a massive difference, making sure you’re all set for a great time on the mountain or to eat in the evening. The communal areas in the lodge are great for relaxing and enjoying a drink
nice rooms, great food, bath, hospitality all around. Staff were helpful in local knowledge from rental skis to restaurants to conditions on various mountains. Happily stay there again. very comfortable and welcoming.
We, a family of four, had a fantastic time due to a combination of the lodge’s facilities and the hospitality provided by Stephen and team. I thoroughly recommend Snowlines for anyone visiting Hakuba and hope to return there one day soon.
Been going to Snowlines for 5 years in a row now and every time feeling truly home with Stephen & Sarasa. What else can you need more than : - Warm and friendly atmosphere - Impeccable service - Very convenient location - Easy access to Iimori, Goryu, Hakuba 47, Happo, Iwatake, Tsugaike - 2 cozy fireplaces - A nice wine cellar - Good restaurants nearby The only things that could get better are unfortunately not under Stephen's control but he does his best to reduce the hassle. Every year he pushes me to book restaurants in advance, proposes to help me out and every year I decline, thinking we can decide once we get there. Hakuba is crowded so booking a couple of evenings in advance is a good idea ! Maybe one day, the stations will think of a more efficient way to arrange ski lift passes but until they do so, Stephen can sometimes get them in advance. Living half a day away, I'm really happy to think I can arrange a few days every year to enjoy snow at Snowlines Lodge Hakuba !…
