I loved Wadano! It is located close to Saka ski lift and there are some lovely, authentic Japanese as well as Western restaurants around the area. The double bedroom we stayed in was spacious, bed was really comfy, it was clean and there is an on site onsen as well! What topped our first time experience in Hakuba off was the amazing and outstanding hospitality provided by the General Manager Josh and hotel staff Yusuke and Jake. Josh was such a nice guy, very friendly. He ensured everything was ok and facilitated with our logistics as much as he could. We also enjoyed all our meals in Hakuba thanks to Josh's recommendations! The whole experience was really memorable. The service was warm, and truly excellent from the moment we were picked up at the station and dropped off at the end of our trip. The hotel staff really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We were also pleasantly surprised to find such a wide variety of places to eat nearby.

We stayed Wadano Forest Hotel in Hakuba ski resort in the beginning of 2017. It is located a bit far from town, but close to the chair lift. The hotel provides wonderful transportation to dinners and shops. Service for price far better than other places we stayed in Hakuba.
