Beautiful large clean room overlooking the water. Got to enjoy a rainbow. Debbie & Floyd are great hosts and Floyd arranged for the Superior Glove Museum tour us for the next morning. Breakfast was great and hubby enjoyed watching the game with Floyd on his BIG TV the first night.

Stayed two nights in the two-bedroom suite with my sister and her husband. Lots of room and a lovely little porch to sit out to enjoy the water and scenery. Central location to visiting Botwood and Leading Tickles etc. Debbie and Floyd are welcoming and the breakfast delicious. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

I definitely recommend By the Bay B & B to anyone who is looking somewhere nice to stay in Central anytime. Not just because I know the owners but because it truly is a beautiful place, and you will not regret it! Excellent service, accommodations, view and some of the friendliest people I know 😊

Debbie and Floyd are great hosts and make you feel one of the family. The meals are wonderful. Rooms new and bright. We were fortunate to be in town during one of the weeks when the cod fishing was open, and got out and caught a few. Debbie was kind enough to cook up a fantastic Fish and Chips meal with one of the codfish. Best Fish and Chips, we have ever eaten. Everyone in our group of 3, loved the week we spent.

I really enjoyed my stay and the owners treat you like family. The rooms are very clean and well thought out with your own entrance. I appreciated the comfortable bed the most and the breakfast spread was fantastic. Very quaint and friendly village with lots to see. It is worth the trip to see the rugged beauty this part of the world has to offer!

We enjoyed the hospitality of Debbie & Floyd for a one night stay during a "see remote NL self-guided tour". All was very good but especially the lovely breakfast the morning we left. I especially enjoyed reviewing Newfoundland NHL hockey players over the years.

We stayed overnight on Sept.12. The room was very comfortable and clean. The owners where very friendly and helpful. The chip wagon we were going to was closed on Mondays so they offered us some of their supper. We didn't take them up on the offer but were most appreciative. Even though we didn't need it I was very impressed that their B & B was wheelchair accessible. You do not usually find that in a B & B.

Our group of 3 travelled to NL for work/ pleasure and were so lucky to stay at By the Bay! This charming property was exceptionally clean, served delicious home cooked meals and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. We stayed in the 2- bedroom suite which featured a very well-stocked kitchen, a comfortable living area and beautifully decorated rooms. Our hosts, Debbie and Floyd, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and no detail was overlooked. Debbie's delicious baked goodies and homemade preserves were the icing on the cake. A true gem in Central Newfoundland. You will not be disappointed and we can't wait to come back!!
