Good place to stay.Very quit and relaxing. Stayed 9 nights. Personnel is very helpful and friendly.The domaine and pool are kept very clean! The only thing I missed is a bar in the evening. There is a bar and you can drink wathever you want but he closes after the evening restaurant service. This can be 21 or 22 o´clock.
Great hotel with a great swimming pool. Large confortable rooms. Staff very friendly, half board option very good, excellent breakfast, and excellent value. We'll be back ! Very near Poligny and Arbois. Need your own transport to stay here and get about. Unless you decide to get a taxi from the station and stay put for your entire stay?
We were not staying at the Hotel but visiting for lunch We enjoyed excellent food, wine and service. The situation on the terrace overlooking the vineyard was perfect. We were welcomed warmly and I would recommend without reservation.
Nice and quiet hotel close to Chateau Chalon. Confortable beds and quiet rooms. Bath room was clean and with some sanitary products. The restaurant has a nice view on the wine yard with a nice terrasse.
We initially took a reservation in this hotel for 3 nights via Booking. Since we wanted to extend our stay and Booking had no more available rooms we called the hotel. We could extend the reservation for 3 more nights but we needed to cancel the Booking.com reservation. Finally we got a reservation directly with the hotel for 6 nights, 2 comfort rooms @ €125 per room per night breakfast excluded, which is quiet pricy price for a 3 starred hotel. We were allocated to rooms on the ground floor facing the pool. The rooms were very nice. In all, the hotel was meeting our expectations. The breakfast is according to French standards rather good, the breakfast lady was helpfull. Covid precautions were taken, all staff was wearing masks although the breakfast lady was wearing the mask under the nose and sometimes she lowered the mask to speak to guests! Unfortunately I got ill with stomach flue, I geuss so as I am still waiting for the results on my test with the doctor. I had to stay 2 days in bed and decided to shorten our stay with one night to see my doctor. I explained this to the owner and he told me that there was no problem to leave earlier but we needed to inform them in the morning as soon as possible. At around 8 am I went to the front desk and the owners wife told me that we had to pay the full amount for the 6 day stay!!! She was not open for any discussion and of course I got p.... , as it seemed there was no way out I gave her my Credit card, apparently there was a problem with the card. I told the owner’s wife to get money from a bank in the nearby city and she said that in that case we should leave one of the children in the hotel !! I asked her you mean as a hostage? Yes she answered as a HOSTAGE. I did not believe what she said, my partner popped out her cc and we paid the full amount and left the place immediately. I can understand that with the current Covid situation it is not easy to run a business and certainly a hotel, but there are limits to everything.... Having worked for more than 20 years in Hotels and Hospitality business I can say that these are not the right people on the right place. I went to this hotel keeping in mind a group booking of 20 rooms in off season with my wine club, but for sure this will never happen.…
