The environment is beautiful, this hotel is surrounded by gorgeous Scottish countryside and the beginning of Autumn is the best time to visit. The chapel and cocktail bar are works of art, the restaurant is functional, although alittle visually cold. Cocktails and dinner were very good and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly but professional. The snooker/games room is great fun. The bedroom was large as was the very comfortable bed. The rest of hotel interiors have a masculine vibe and alittle to traditional for my taste.

Overnight stay for wife's 50th birthday. Pulled out all stops and booked the Eden suite. Absolutely fantastic decision. Easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Food was perfect and the staff really couldn't have been any more professional and helpful. Will be back as soon as I can afford it.

Had a 50th birthday lunch at Cromlix for my husband with our family. Such a stunning location, lovely relaxed environment, the staff couldn’t have been nicer - attentive but not over-bearing. The menu offered enough variety for all, of particular note were the venison and the sea bass. However everything was delicious. All in all a lovely afternoon and would highly recommend.

The best hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at many. The suite we were given, the food, the service, the location, the building, the comfort, the staff...all excellent. Every other hotel now has little chance of not being compared to the Cromlix, in my mind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent one night stay at Cromlix, it was a real treat. We were looked after exceptionally well all the staff were very nice and professional without being stuffy. Our room was lovely, light, airy and very comfortable with a beautiful view across to the trees. The bathroom was well appointed , very spacious and the towels were soft and fluffy with just the right amount provided. Dinner in Chez Roux was delicious, everything was artistically presented, full of flavour and the recommended wine was a perfect match . Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choice to set you up for the day.
