Marine House is enviably positioned at the landward end of the spit leading to Hurst Castle and only 10 minutes walk from the restaurants in the centre of Milford. It also has its own parking.
Our room was Dolphin Bank. It has a lovely view West along the promenade and out to sea. The quality of the fittings etc in the room is exceptional; more the standard that you would put in your own home than you would expect in a B&B.
Mandy was delightfully welcoming and helpful. She and her husband clearly have a passion to make sure that their guests have a great stay.
We would certainly like to stay here again.

We recently spent three nights at The Marine House and really enjoyed it. The building is lovely and the rooms all have sea views. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and was wanting for nothing. Bathroom was large with lots of shelves to put things on (so often missing in other hotels). Plenty of shower gel, etc. and lovely fluffy white towels. The storage space in the bedroom was also better than most. The bottles of fresh milk and water were much appreciated. Mandy and her husband obviously go to a lot of trouble to keep The Marine in such a lovely condition. We were very grateful when, after a telephone call from my sister, they went out and purchased a bottle of champagne on her behalf for our Anniversary.
Because of the4 Covid problems, breakfast was not included, but The Lighthouse restaurant (part of the same building) was fine and we also used one of the cafes in the village on one of the days.
There are good restaurants in and around Milford. We had a lovely meal at the Brittania Thai in the village and another very good meal at the Cliff House hotel in Barton (a short drive from Milford).
Definitely a B&B to be recommended.

We stayed at Marine House and would certainly stay again. Our room was the sunset view room and enjoyed fabulous views of the sea. The management were very hospitable and the room was cleaned to a very high standard. The lighthouse restaurant below serves lovely food where we had lunch and breakfast. We would certainly recommend this great place.

Warm hosts and location but extremely disappointing for price. Our room was tiny and our seafront view had smashed glass as a balcony. The drawers in the room hadn't been cleaned which is crucial during a pandemic. When we arrived, we got a tour of the b&b only to be shown that every other room in the b&b was larger and that we could of stayed in one had we had paid £50-60 more a night. The advert on trip advisor "including breakfast" is also incorrect - they can not serve breakfast at the moment. All in all for £490 for 2 nights was the highest we have ever paid for a couples retreat, which didn't include breakfast.

We stayed in the Hurst Castle suite, which was very tastefully decorated, in a moden style. The balcony area overlooks the car park, but gives beautiful views out over a wildlife reserve, towards Hurst Castle and the Isle of Wight. Literally yards from the shingle beach. There is a small kitchenette, with a mini-fridge, toaster, microwave , kettle and sink. Parking was right next to the building. There is a large roof terrace available to residents, and gives great views of the sky and sea. Easy walking distance from the village, which has various eating options and shops.

Stayed in the penthouse suite for a 2 night break. Lovely spot - quiet and right on the beach/next to Sturt Pond but less than 10 min stroll into the village. Quirky art deco type building with The Lighthouse restaurant (very good for breakfast at least) on the GF and accommodation on the first. Great welcome from the owners Mandy and Richard who clearly care about their guests. Suite was great - loads of room, some unusual features (used to be a bar and some of the bar features have been retained), large spa bath, good shower and a small well-equipped kitchen. Huge balcony that wraps around the building, great for relaxing and seeing the sunset. Covid arrangements were clear and well thought through. Although the restaurant is busy, it doesn’t open too late so we had a very good night’s sleep in the comfy bed as there is no passing traffic or people. Recommended 👍

What a little Gem! We booked this last minute, and I'm so glad we did. The hosts make every effort to make your arrival smooth, Mandy was very welcoming and so helpful. The room was clean with lovely views and comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this place for a short stay. The lighthouse downstairs also has great food and friendly staff. If you like Tapas and a lively bar visit The Cave in the village.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay in the Hurst castle suite here. It was our first 'stay and time out' post lockdown, and we were wary of what to expect. Mandy welcomed us, social distancing and sanitising us on arrival. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area, and nothing was too much trouble for her. The room was very well equipped with lovely linens, robes and towels. Small kitchenette was an unexpected bonus, glasses, mugs, plates and cutlery, lovely to have a fridge and wine cooler! A spacious suite that we would be very happy to return to again and again. Brilliant spot to enjoy all that Milford on sea has to offer. Spectacular views from the balcony.
