The property is interesting, no doubt. The fact that there were many company events probably didn't help, but the room I got was uncomfortable, with twin beds, and really low pillows that were never changed, even though I requested that twice. Poor customer service, had to request cleaning of the room, way too expensive for what it was, didn't sleep well due to the bad pillows and small bed.

very nice place, in the woods, very fresh in spite of high temperatures given its ideal location. Even the rooms were fresh while it was 31° outside! Ideal spot to hike / off-road bike in the region, and only 15' from Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein

On the pictures it looks realy nice, but the Elegance room i received was a bit outdated. The area is beautiful and so are the public areas. Breakfast room is large and well equipped. Offers a large variety. In the middle of the night there was a party on one of the other hotel rooms, with people singing and dancing.

We had a company meeting in the hotel. I was not able to try all activities in the hotel due to business activities during day time but I can say the cafe terrace, bowling, and beer garden were the best relaxation points for me. Nature was fantastic, and short walk through the old village to the castle was a unique experience, note that raining is not rare in the area. the air was refreshing I slept with an open window all the time. Overall I am very happy to stay in the hotel and Grenzau.

My mom and I stayed here for 5 nights to calm down completely; we were looking forward to the sauna and spa, the hikes in the environment and the quietness around us. Our experience was nothing less than what we had hoped for; we had a lovely time. The staff was very friendly to us! Whenever we asked something, they would come to our room immediately to help us. They recognized us from day 2 on, and did not have to ask for our room number anymore (which we found special)! We would defenitely come back; maybe in warmer and sunnier times ☀️.

Nestled in the charming Brexbach valley, this jewel is well worth the effort involved to get there. Patient, well planned development has seen the hotel retain very high standards of staff training and service. Priority is always accorded to the guest, and any meaningful request is attended to promptly. A different type of pillow, an extra sheet, special dietary requirements are easily accommodated. Z Restaurant is the nerve centre of the establishment. Buffet meals prepared to high standards, with an emphasis on seasonal fare, cater to a wide array of tastes. Healthy appetites from forest walk, mountain biking, swimming, table tennis training session, or gym workout can be appeased with repeat servings if necessary. Chilling out in the whirlpool is recommended at any time. Failing that, try tenpin bowling, darts or just a quiet beer. Even the silence deep in a forest glade is rewarding!

This hotel caters to many different type of visitors, and does so quite nicely. We came to visit family and friends during our recent trip to Germany. We were greeted at the reception by friendly and courteous staff. This attitude carried throughout. The room keys still are real keys, but use a magnetic card to run the power in the room. Our room was normal sized by european, smaller by american standards. But it easily overcame that by showing an attention to detail not seen in many larger and presumably "premium" hotels. The safe was more than spacious for our 2 laptops. The bed was a king and the mattress was firm and comfy. The bathroom had very nice and stylish sink (flat, but nor, so the water easily drains). The products were not just a spa sales pitch. And it was so quiet. Eating options are plentiful. A fine sit down restaurant (just take a look a the massive meat slicer on display for the carpaccio. Probably the price of a small car). Buffet style is also an option. An on site Pizzeria has a true Naples style oven from naples and the thin crust really brings out the flavors of the toppings. Also on site a craft brewery. During the day time you can either work in their many fully equipped conference rooms, if you are there for business, or you partake in many sports like mountain biking, hiking, gym, bowling (on site) or Table Tennis (for which it is an olympic training center) in order to build up an appetite for the good food waiting. With its close proximity to the Autobahn this hotel complex in the serene valley of the Brexbach is definitely worth a trip.
