#2 of 6 hotels in Sant Cugat del Valles
The Hotel Sant Cugat is modern, comfortable and perfectly combines a practical spirit with warm and stylish decorations. The rationalist design is the work of architect Pep Bonet. Its extraordinary location in the center of Sant Cugat makes it the perfect choice for business trips, or visits with family and friends. You can rest and unwind in the center of the city. The Sant Cugat hotel offers large and well-lit spaces, comfortable rooms, and beautiful gardens and terraces that will make you feel right at home. Since we're in the center of Sant Cugat, you can enjoy the old historic city, visit the Romanesque monastery, discover the Mercat Vell (Old Marketplace) or peruse a wide array of shops with all kinds of articles, boutiques, design and craftwork. Bars and restaurants are also plentiful. Sant Cugat is 15 km from Barcelona and easy to get to by public transportation and your own vehicle. If you want to go at a different pace, we can suggest places to go running, hiking, or biking.

This place was so nice and walkable. I was happy to spend a week here. There was a storm here and I ended up spending extra time at the hotel. The restaurant was delicious, especially the breakfast. Staff was super friendly and spoke fluent English. Thank you, I'll be back!

The Hotel put me out on Monday because of Corona. The money I don't have back until today. At the reception they didn't want to give it back to me directly. Until today I don't have an information. We will see what happened, maybe I have to contact a lawyer...

Dear Sir, We regret that you have been affected for the forced closure of our hotel as required by the government of Spain. As we informed you before, we have been in contact with the agency you made through your reservation, and they have to refund you the days cancelled as they told us. Probably the agency is not working as usually do because the exceptional situation we are living, and that is why you have not received it yet. We are not allowed to refund you because the payment was not made to our Hotel directly. Anyway, from our side, we have made all the arrangements required by the agency to proceed to refund you. Thank you very much for your understanding

Comfortable business hotel. Breakfast is great for a quick bite. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, friendly staff. Keep in mind, very few restaurants are open late in Sant Cugat. The bar staff at the hotel helped me out with some olives/nuts/beer to tie me over, greatly appreciated.

Clean, nice size and decor with comfortable bed and pillows. As pictured above. Bathroom has good space and good shower. Would not be so good for someone with mobility or balance challenges to use the bath. Would stay again.

Let's start with a giant compliment to the housekeeping staff. We stayed for a week and were amazed at how fast they managed to clean the rooms. We'd leave for breakfast and come back up to a spotlessly clean room. The mattresses were hard so we asked at reception for a topper which they did not have. Housekeeping "created" one and it was very comfortable. Thank you! The hotel itself is okay and the rooms are big with a large desk/working area. It's not far from the centre of the town and an easy walk to the station. We had an issue with breakfast some mornings at 7am. One or two mornings we needed to eat early and there were many others doing the same. With so many people all at once trying to get a cup of coffee or tea at the only hot water/coffee station available created very long queues. There is a coffee bar but no-one was manning it this early. The times we were there, there was only one staff member walking around and she sort of disappeared quite often so there was no-one to ask for more milk ( only two bottles in the fridge which ran out very quick) or to fill the fresh orange juice squeezer with more oranges for example. The buffet breakfast is average and was also not topped up regularly so you had to eat what was left. They offered fresh fruit and the hams were delicious. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful about sight-seeing options. We would stay here again just because it's in a beautiful town and not far from Barcelona.
