I had a problem with printing pot my locator for on my return to uk . 2 employees of your hotel went over and beyond my expectations in trying to resolve my problem Carlos and Sergio you should be proud of these two staff if I could I would give them a medal
The nearby road system makes this hotel very difficult to access from the north and it’s situated in an unattractive industrial area close to the busy A1. Initially the approach through glass doors into the lobby looks modern, attractive & upmarket. The stair well and landings were beautifully decorated with marble, traditional furnishings and art work on the walls. Then we opened the room door........... and were met with an extremely basic room!!! Apart from the essential furniture the only facility was a tiny TV. The room was lit by just 2 bedside lights (one of which didn’t work), the power sockets seemed dodgy, the bathroom was stained and mouldy with broken plaster and fittings and the old de-silvered mirror looked horrible. Sleep was disturbed by horrendous rattling of our door every time an outer door down the corridor opened. About the only good thing was the free WiFi. We spent minimal time here and left at 6:30am. Although pricing seemed cheap it was poor value compared to other places we stayed for similar money but which we much more ‘luxurious’ in comparison. I wouldn’t return.…
Arrived late into Santander so used this as a stopover. Rooms were basic but huge with a big bathroom and was also very clean. Bar and resturant downstairs was very busy with mostly locals and was very friendly. Had a late night snack of their black pudding which is a local delicacy it was delicious. Had very good scrambled eggs and coffee in the morning before starting off on our journey down south. Would recommend
We stopped for one night en route south it's just off the A1 motorway the hotel is rated three stars it is a traditional Spanish hotel with a friendly feel the staff are very accommodating. The room was slightly dated but the bed was clean and comfortable .the bathroom had a shower over the bath with a few freebies thrown in i.e toothbrush and some shower and soap. Towels were nice and fluffy .in the morning there is a breakfast area and a children's area so it is fine for families or travellers as we were .very good value for money at 50 euros for a twin bed or two singles would recommend this hotel for a stop over
Just off A-1 so really convenient, plenty of parking with is free. It was very busy due to time of year and time of day with the majority of patrons being Spanish. The cafeteria was serving food from a fairly extensive menu and seating was available if you took the time to wander around. On our arrival at hotel reception it appeared unmanned but a very helpful waiter found someone to check us in. Room basic but Okay for our needs (would have been nice to have a kettle though). We ate in the restaurant which opened at 8pm and the food was tasty and good value - €14 per person for 3 courses including wine, bread and water. We had our dog with us so it’s always a bonus for us to find somewhere pleasant to stay which is pet friendly.
