Stayed in Ezcaray as our last stop on a cycling tour in the Rioja. Our room at Casa Masip was spotless, quiet, and a decent size. At breakfast, there was much choice, great coffee, and some of the best in-house baking that I have ever tasted! Both nights there, we ate at the tapas bar next door to the hotel which is also run by the family. Twin sisters! Food and local wine were delicious. Prices very reasonable. The bar was jam packed with locals - literally standing room only and spilling out into the street. My husband left some shirts in the closet in our room and the owners went above and beyond to return them to us at our next stop on our Spain tour. So grateful! We would return to this little spot in a heartbeat!

We have stayed in Ezcaray in a self catering apartment. We have eaten most of the time at casa maslip, twice for tapas, once in the restaurant, and Sunday lunch was paella! The tapas are great, especially if you don't speak Spanish. Just point and eat! The restaurant is very good, and the paella was great for Sunday lunch. Well recommended

This hotel is located in the middle of the village Ezcaray and it is very cosy, good and modern. We was here during low season, in summer, but we really enjoyed our staying here. We was here during an bicycle vacation with Casa Masip as base camp!

Great location in centre of the village. Rooms are not as big as some, but very clean and well appointed. There's no lift, so you have to carry bags upstairs. There's no staff around most of the time. Good breakfast.

Charming hotel in small village. However service level did not meet our expectations. The reception didn’t seem to be manned, either at arrival or departure, we had to go and look for the staff on another floor to check in/out. Poor wi-fi connection. Beds and bed linen was not in good quality. Breakfast was moderate. However, we had a nice tapas dinner experience in the hotel bar next door.
