What can we say EXCELLENT from first phone call to ask about availability to check out, Breakfast was top notch eggs Royal, every day, full breakfast both full and veg were great good selection, evening meals first class in restaurant or bar area, A little disappointed in tomahawk pork chop not what I expected size wise however good taste, we stayed in old part of building with proper key and lock, overlooking front of property peaceful and quiet, unsure of new building around wooded area. 15 min walk into Guisborough, It is now independantly run by owner Lord Gisborough / family who I think at 97 yrs old still has active day he takes time to speak to visitors and plays the piano on an evening lovely touch. All in all I would recommend staying here we will again, 3 days of rest. No loud music calming atmosphere.

Had a wonderful stay at Guisborough Hall. We attended an (early) Christmas function so decided to make a bit of a weekend from it so came early for lunch and stopped overnight. Everything was spot on from check in to check out. Staff extremely professional but friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. They looked after us very well to ensure smooth running of event. Room was very clean and spacious with everything you need. Lunch was lovely and relaxing sat in the lounge by the fire and Christmas tree. Breakfast was also spot on with an extensive choice of high quality food even though we came at peak time and they were very busy. Everyone else in our group seemed to enjoy themselves too, nothing but positive comments. Would definitely recommend. We have also attended for afternoon tea and a Christmas party night last year and again everything was spot on then. Thank you!

Had a wonderful afternoon tea today at Guisborough Hall Hotel. I am a coeliac and they provided the best gluten free scones I have ever tasted. All the food was delicious and so much food. We all took a cake box of left overs home. Comfortable surroundings and lovely staff, can’t recommend it enough.

Felt welcomed the minute we got here, room was fantastic a stone throw from the high street, welcomed with a nice glass of wine and what I can say is the best bit of bread I've ever tasted! The steak was cooked perfect and when we come back to the room the room service was brilliant bringing our cheese board and ice when needed, slept really well with no noise couldn't of asked for a better evening will be coming back again with my partner really recommend here

Just back from our second visit to this amazing hotel. Run by a great team where nothing is too much trouble with a special call out for Sophie and Brian who make you feel so welcome and really look after you. We also had a trip to the spa highly recommend a treatment if you can I had the best facial I have ever had from Hannah and hubby had a fantastic deep tissue massage from Danni. The food is outstanding from breakfast to dinner in both the grill and chalenor’s. Highly recommend a stay when you visit the area. We will certainly be back.
