It was pleasure to have rest in this quiet place, with great view on Meteora. Nice, clean room and typical brakfast was an advantage. Free parking place is good choice for travellers with car. Hotel offers discount for familly owned restaurant with regional meals.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. For us this was a disappointment. On the plus side this hotel is very close to the Meteora monasteries and also a 5 minute walk from the centre of Kastraki. On the pictures this hotel looks great but in real it’s very basic. We booked a Meteora view room with it’s own balcony overlooking the rocks but the only thing we were able to see were very high trees (see pictures). The room itself was small en very basic also. The bathroom was extremely small (see picture). The remote control of the air-conditioning was broken so we changed it with the one from the next door room which worked better. The breakfast offered in the hallway was very poor. Terrible coffee, some slices of bread with some cheese and sausage. The staff was OK but not very friendly or helpful. There was no information available about the Meteora monasteries. No maps, no information, nothing. This was very disappointing for an hotel which main business is hosting visitors from all over the world who are here for visiting these monasteries. This hotel was not worth the money we paid for the room (about 95 Euro per night).

We were very surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The common areas and the rooms are very different from the pictures. The staff is unfriendly, the bed is too hard and small, the shower is uncomfortable.
In our bedroom the window was broke, so we couldn’t close it and were awake in the first sunlight.
Also, the checkout was at 10:30, which was not clear when we made the reservation.
The good reviews here were one of the reasons why we chose this hotel, and I would have liked to know these details before coming.

The location was quite good, you also had some restaurants within walking distance. Good thing was that our room was on the ground floor, so we didn't have to drag the suitcase anywhere.
The pictures and description of the "Room with view of Meteora rocks" are a bit exaggerated. If you went out onto the balcony, you could see a rock around the corner. The bathroom was very small and impractical. The room was one of the worst of our 3 week road trip. I didn't like the breakfast, you just get a few things brought without being asked what you want. You can reorder, but I didn't like the system because some of what was brought to the table was left over, of course.

Besides the location that was beautiful, I would not recommend it. Poor cleanliness, no service, no insulation. An 80's property that has undergone some renovation. Reception until 22:00. After nothing. We paid 90 euros per night for a room on the bottom floor!

It was a very basic room but served it purpose. It was clean, the breakfast was good and typical for Greece. Because we had to catch a taxi at 5:00 am, the ladies there made us sandwiches so we didn't miss breakfast. That was amazing to me!! The staff was so nice and helpful. Kastraki is a quant, quiet, little town that we loved.

Fabulous! Friendly hosts. Breakfast available at a great price. Room was very comfortable and quiet with great facilities. Close to many of the monasteries and other walks. Close to great restaurants, cafes, bakery and mini mart in Kastraki. Easy 20 min walk or 5 Euro taxi fare to main Meteora town centre of Kalabaka. Overall great value.

+1
First I would like to thank Ifigenia for her kindness and her availability in this calm and relaxing place during this five days. Very close to the monasteries if you drive or hike. The rooms are clean and you have space inside. There is a big kitchen that you can use. You can get breakfast if you want and it is realy good. There are parking places for those who have car. Yes, I recommend this place.
