We stayed 3 nights at this hotel on a family holiday. Perfect & very central location in Shinjuku. Walking distance to underground & train stations, shopping centre & tons of restaurants. The hotel is quite dated but excellent service plus so organised. One of our...More
Our hotel room at the Keio Plaza was generically nice and comfortable - and not the shoebox I was expecting. The only notable elements were the extremely dedicated concierges who tried (and failed) to make us reservations at various Michelin star restaurants (we were already...More
This is a lovely hotel close to shopping district of Shinjuku and the train station. It has 45 floors and great views on that level where there is a bar and restaurant. We had one expensive drink only but couldn't have afforded a "session".
Stayed at the Keio Plaza during the Tokyo Marathon Weekend, hotel was sold out and very busy, however were very accommodating and looking to assist where ever they could. The restaurants are fabulous on site and in the direct vicinity of the hotel itself. Location...More
What a great hotel! We were here for business, and we had a great time. 5 minutes from the station, so this made it very easy to make our way around town and to the places that we needed to go. I enjoyed my time.

Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

I stayed in on the premier level. I have no idea what the other rooms are like, but the premier level room was spacious and had a great view. There was no sofa, only a small table and chair, as well as a desk/counter area that I used for working. The beds in my room were both small...almost twin sized (U.S.).
