Kazusaya Hotel

This place is temporarily closed due to renovation. Since the opening of the Hotel Kazusaya in 1891 at Nihonbashi in Tokyo, it has been offering safe, clean and comfortable service as tradition. We have been making it a motto to extend our guests "warm and relaxing hospitality." Although it is comparatively a small hotel, we are proud of creating family-like atmosphere which is not found in larger establishments. Just 5 minutes by car or JR from Tokyo station. 1. Shin-nihonbashi station (JR Sobu-yokosuka line for Chiba) Exit No. 6, 1 minute by walk 2.Kanda station (JR Yamanote line & Keihin-tohoku line) East exit, 5 minutes by walk 3. Mitsukoshi-mae station (Subway Ginza line) Kanda side exit, 5 minutes by walk 4. Ginza, Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

There was apparently a sumo tournament going on so we were only able to find a double room at this hotel that was small (even by Japanese standards) though not badly laid out. It was relatively expensive but convenient to Kanda station. Unlike others in Japan we were able to have

Walk 1 minute once you exit JR Shin Nihombashi station, walk to tiny road on your left, you will see KAZUSAYA HOTEL sign board on the right side. Amazingly, vending machines still available in this tiny and quiet road (if not alley). My small double room is really small (as its n

The Kazusaya Hotel is a typical inexpensive hotel in Japan, with one surprising exception: the staff took care of us in English. I had not anticipated that. Having stayed in other similar hotels, I must admit it isn't exceptional. However, it is clean and quiet, and the staff is
