We stayed for a few nights in April, the weather was perfect and the location sublime. We had a nice room with a very tiny bathroom in the main house, but we had all we needed. We ate in the restaurant two evenings and the food was wonderful with very attentive staff. Would not hesitate in recommending the farmhouse to someone who wants to explore the beautiful Tuscan area.
Very nice setting, in pure tranquility. A nicely kept agriturismu on farmland with their own produce, including animals, fruit and vegetables. Rooms are clean, and the general cleanliness of the guesthouse was very good. Breakfast included fresh fruit, savoury and sweet items all produced in house. We also dined one night at their restaurant. Food very good, also thee setting outside was very pleasant. We didn't make use of the pool are but we went to have a look and it seemed nice and well sized pool. Rooms and furniture inside is rustic, typical of a tuscan countryside villa. Perhaps some furniture, interior layouts and general infrastructure needs some upgrading, but on the whole very pleasant. Perfect place to relax and cut off from the hectic life. Also good to go swimming in the Tuscan coast nearby. The closest beach is 30mins by car which is quite good.…
My family and I spent an excellent stay at La Bandita. The hotel is elegant and comfortable, staff is very friendly and available for any kind of request. We loved our spacious room and the swimming pool. Also very nice is their Restaurant where there is a very good selection of wines (every evening we ate there, we were spoilt by a welcoming glass of chilled Prosecco and tasty snacks...we miss you, guys!!). We will definitely come back! The O.R.Family
The location is really amazing, with a beautiful landscape, so relaxing. The room is clean and comfortable. Splept great! Staff are friendly and helpful. The Restaurant is a true delight with wholesome Italian cuisine and their farm grown produce. We loved it!
We booked 4nights in this accommodation requesting a room in the villa for my Husbands 60th Birthday. When we arrived we were shown to a beautiful room on the first floor with a lovely balcony. The room was very comfortable and clean with antique furniture and very spacious. We stayed for dinner most nights and the food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always on hand if you needed anything. The pool was amazing and very relaxing after a day out visiting the Towns and villages. I would recommend Tenuta La Bandita to anyone wanting an away from it all holiday in beautiful surroundings. P
We are just back from a week at the wonderful country estate that is Tenuta la Bandita. From the moment you arrive you are made welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the owner Daniella and her lovely staff. The rooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable. We ate at the hotel five of the six nights and the food is local and delicious. You need a car as the property is quite remote and up in the Tuscan hills which adds to its charm. We went to beach a few times and especially loved Baratti. You can do some good walks there too. We did a trip to Volterra to visit this charming hilltop village with lots of museums and the brillant Guarnacci Etruscan museum where you can see the famous elongated form of the Ombra della Sera (Shadow of the evening) It is one of the earliest public museums in Europe. We had a delicious dinner at Osteria Enoteca San Guido near Bolgheri, another town worth a visit. This agriturismo hotel has lots of charm and character and makes for a lovely relaxing holiday.…
We arrived early on Sunday evening and was greeted by Danielle the owner who was welcoming and friendly. After a welcome cold beer on the patio we were shown to our room.It was just as I had requested. Rather quirky with old fashioned furniture which was in keeping with the period of the property, spotlessly clean..A bonus was the large outdoor space which was a lovely place to sit in the afternoon.(A charming room ,room 14 )We booked bed and breakfast which was plentiful and tasty. All meals were taken outside overlooking the olive trees ,gardens and near by Sassetta, serenaded by the sound of crickets. All the staff we met were friendly and polite. We loved exploring the nearby villages in the morning then sitting by the beautiful pool in the afternoon. At 4 pm the waiter arrives by the pool and will bring you a welcome drink. We had dinner a few times. This is by candle light and served by the attentive waiters. It is expensive in comparison to some of the restaurants nearby and not always of quite the same quality but very pleasant. We just loved our week here and can't wait to return.…
Absolutely lovely week. Fabulous countryside, lovely food and the staff were delightful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Beautifully clean and great pool too. A car is fairly important as the position is very rural it that is all part of the attraction of staying here.
It was a great choice of location in Tuscany, we drove from Switzerland and it was an easy drive, simple to find, you certainly need a car if you are staying here. If we could make a suggestion to improve the facility a Tesla Destination Charger would set you apart the the other locations. We found plenty of places to charge so no big problem Food at the hotel was excellent 10/10 price and quality the waiters and waitresses were very good and made it a personal service Room was perfect and the chamber maid made it like brand new every day. Cannot Fault this hotel 10/10
My husband and I stayed here for a week and what a beautiful place it is! We received excellent service and stayed in one of the Classic Rooms which was comfortable, clean and had a lovely little garden which lead out onto the pool. The food at the restaurant is delicious and all the wait staff were very friendly and helpful. We received excellent service from all staff who were cheerful and hospitable. Only things to be aware of - it's very remote so a car is a must, and even then it's quite far to any large towns. However, the countryside and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful. Also, the restaurant is closed on Wednesday evenings which was not a problem as Sassetta (the nearest and very pretty town) has a few places to eat - however, we were looking forward to spending our last night at the restaurant so this was a shame as we would have planned something else in advance if we had known. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and there is plenty of wildlife to see. Having the little garden was lovely in the evenings as it meant that we could buy drinks from a local supermarket to enjoy in the evenings (the hotel staff were more than happy to provide us wine glasses for this which we were very grateful for). The bar at the main house is extensive with an excellent wine list and cocktails on request, however it became quite expensive if we were having drinks every night which is why some nights we chose to buy our own (85 cents for a large Birra Morreti at the local Coop!) Overall we had the most wonderful time here and would 100% recommend for any couples looking to unwind and experience the beautiful Tuscan countryside.…
