I stay in this hotel with majestic tour, the tour offers meal. Usually hotel should provide water but this hotel charge 2 Euro for 1 bottle. My daughter bought her own water from the bedroom to dinning room downstairs. She put her water on her side not on the table. The hotel staff came and told her that they sell water here and she should not bring her own water in dining rooms and they can sue her. Food wise is okay but there is no choice, no information what is today dinner. We have to pay for our water every meal. Hotel never change towels even though we stay for a week.
Amazing host and hotel staff.food and atmosphere unbeatable...home from home .clean and tidy...I had an accident and Werner was so helpful even when i apologised in the morning he was so gracious so thank you for a fab time
A nice friendly place good food the place was clean had good entetainment in the evening and the drinks was fine the bed was nice and comfortable and nice walk beside the river Rhine watching the barges .
Nice structure in a perfect position. Staff is very friendly and speaks English. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is ok (I cannot really judge because in my country we have very different food for breakfast). I think quality/price is good.
Cute little restaurant with great food and wine choices. Very reasonable prices for the amount and quality of food. Located almost at the end of town on your way to the castles. Kids friendly. Local wines.
Not as advertised no entertainment no air-conditioning no tea or coffee facilities in room no bread or water with evening meals no choice of what to eat, manager always saying he is sick so no entertainment only good thing was clean rooms and comfortable bed
Stayed here for three nights and enjoyed everything about it. Werner was very welcoming and the fact that he spoke perfect English was a plus for us as our German is virtually non- existent. The room was large and very comfortable and very clean, in fact the whole hotel looked immaculate. The food was exceptional and we ate in the hotel every night. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Extremely good value for money.
I have to agree with the reviews from Hotel From Hell and An Experience. I went with my friend at the end of November. We got to the hotel very late.Yes there was sandwiches on the tables, but it worked out as one piece of bread each, though you were offered more.We were given a lecture by the owner about the free bar and the meals. If you had any diet problems you had to let him know, and if you didn't like fish. He would not tell you what you were getting if you didn't like fish and you were never told what you were having for your evening meal. It was just put in front of you. The breakfast was typical Lidl/Aldi cold meats, cheese etc. Nothing hot. He said that even though the bar was free from 2030-2230, he would like us to buy drinks before hand. The hotel is a very old building and the stairs are very narrow/winding, and some rooms you had to go outside for. The water in the shower was not very warm, towels small. Twin beds are a big wooden frame with two mattress and two quilts. There is not a kettle in the room, but I believe that is normal in the lower star hotels in Europe. The rooms are clean and the beds made ever day. There was no entertainment even though it says there is in the brochure. We just sat at our meal tables and chatted to the other passengers.(That was nice because the other passengers were nice and our drivers, the two Pauls were brilliant). We were told that the owner wasn't well. In that case he needs to find someone else to look after the hotel until he is better. I would go with Majestic again, but I would not reccomend this hotel at all.…
No choice in food ,no entertainment as advertised Breakfast the most sparse I have ever seen in Europe penetrate picheing all the time and it shows ,no hot water, room and hotel very clean came Back two find the hotel locked Bar not well stocked would go two the Rhine valley again but not this hotelinternet crape
Food was good, staff friendly, however the holiday was not as advertised or hotel. We went on an organised trip through a coach company. We were put up the top of hotel in which you had to go outside from the second floor to reach. Rooms were clean, beds comfy. As long as no one else was using water you either got a cold or hot shower. Walls very thin could hear conversations from other rooms. Electric went out as getting ready in morning, no drinks facilities in rooms, no entertainment as advertised, no comfortable place to sit except at dinner table. No lifts and felt for the older people who had to climb many stairs. Free bar for 3 nights included but made to feel bad if used.
