Stayed here for four days on a pilgrimage trip with my mother. The room rates are affordable, room service staff are courteous and prompt 👍 Rooms are neat, well furnished and ventilated with balconies for fresh hilly air day and night. There is an Ayurveda spa on 5th floor with knowledgeable skilled staff, which my mother enrolled for detoxification. It’s 5 min walk to NEM beach, fresh gushing Holy Ganges water and ultimate scenic surroundings 👌Laxman Jhula market is 10 min drive. Solid location !! Front desk managers are well qualified in hotel management and professional in conduct.
Guards are there 24/7, secure site for elderly people, ample parking in hotel and down-lane reserved parking spot. Chefs are skilled in Indian, Chinese- sumptuous homely food, you feel satisfied and healthy. Drinking water RO unit down, housekeeper cleans room properly, not a single insect or flies.
Bathroom was clean, neat. Well dressed up staff, knows English Hindi local languages . Views from balcony has Holy Ganges, mountains Badrinath Highway, Forests and clear far sight. Peaceful environment in night, no pollution and noise. Restaurant cruise has good variety.
Optimal value for money 👏👏which reflects hotel owners qualitative hospitality service policy in this sacred Hindu pilgrimage city. Felt satisfied, relaxed and happy after staying here. The Kamay- Grand Alova is a hidden gem in Rishikesh. My beautiful room on the 5th floor had its own little balcony overlooking the River Ganges against a backdrop of forested Himalayan foothills. The hotel is quiet and clean, the staff very attentive of their guests.
The visiting general manager, Mr Pandey, had excellent English and a calm, approachable manner. Mr Parvendra, the motel manager was frequently visible to wave us off on our excursions and welcome us home. On my free day he suggested various tour options, organised transport and offered the services of the housekeeping manager, Mr Anoop as my guide.
Mr Anoop, a quiet, genuine gentleman escorted me to the amazing Beatles ashram and the Ganga Aartis at Parmarth Niketan. He let me wander freely and gave me time to enjoy these wonderful experiences.
The restaurant food at the Grand Alova under the supervision of Mr Nauni and chef Mr Raturi was excellent and plentiful, sometimes offering a la carte (often western items), other times buffets that included delicious Indian options. The waiters were polite and quick with table service, even memorising our morning coffee orders. (One evening they even surprised me with an unexpected mocktail).
From the bellboy Avneet, the front counter staff, Soni, Rahul and Vinod, this hotel and its staff went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my time. As a result I was able to safely visit those sights a widowed senior-aged woman would have found impossible to do without their care and attention. I would highly recommend this establishment to others seeking a safe and beautiful place to stay in Rishikesh.

We stayed in Grand Alova for 03Nts with my 03yr old son. The location of this property is perfect not very far from the center and still peaceful, away from all the chaos. We were given a River view room which was the best and so delightful since it has all kind of views a person can imagine... River, mountains and Beach too. "The Grand Alova"can be a good option for stay,If you come to Rishikesh. There are amazing views from the hotel rooms. Rooms in the hotel are divided into three categories- ▫️ Deluxe ▫️ River facing ▫️ Mountain facing There is yoga cum conference hall on the top floor of the hotel from where you can see beautiful views. There is a neem beach at walking distance where you can chill with nature.The hotel staff is very professional and always ready to help their guest.A lot of delicious dishes are served in its restaurant. The Grand Alova Rishikesh offered a comfortable and pleasant stay. This is a good property to stay in and the service is 10/10, staffs are very helpful and extremely dedicated. A great place at a great price The staff was very professional, well trained and eager to service the customer. The food quality was also good. We enjoyed the 2 nights stay with friends and family. You can see the Ganga river from the balcony and the view of the mountains is amazing. The river beach is walking distance from the hotel and is a good place to plan your picnic. The hotel is relatively new so all the gadgets function properly specially the ACs were very effective even in the July heat.

The location of the hotel is ideal as it’s away from the busy streets and quiet but close enough to the epicentre of Tapovan road. Hotel itself is very clean and relaxing to be in after a long day. This is a genuine review and not from hotel staff/owner etc. Few points: 1. The location of the hotel is good, next to Aloha resorts. Neem beach near the hotel is very good. But rent a bike/scooty to visit other places locally since driving a car can be painful due to heavy traffic. 2. River view from 4th & 5th floor rooms. Our room was on 5th. Very good mountain view from all the rooms. 3. Staff was very very supportive. Taking names raise some doubt but I can't resist since these people treated us very well - Mr. Pervinder and Rohit on reception. 4. They have a good restaurant at 1st floor but hotel staff never forced/expected us to take meals there. They provided us the right info about well known famous restaurants in Rishikesh. Breakfast included in our tariff was a buffet having nice options.
Overall experience was good staying at this hotel.
Cons: 1. They do not have a swimming pool. 2. Auto rickshaws do not go till hotel, limited upto Laxman jhula cut. Hence renting a bike will be a good option to visit local places.

I recently stayed here with my family for 1 night. Food, service and view from the room were amazing, especially Ms. Soni at the reception was amazing and really helpful. She suggested us the neem beach and it was worth going. Just the thing is they need to maintain their bathroom as it was stinking a lot and there was no hot water available in the geyser in the cold time of night. We had to take bath in cold water only all the time.

I stayed at the hotel with my family. We were a large group of people so we made bookings in advance, during which the staff was very friendly and helpful. Parvendra and Soni ensured the rooms were hygienic and neat. After getting to the hotel, they made sure that my family was at ease and helped with everything on time. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel so the location is pleasant as well. I’d recommend this hotel.
