Antalya by Divine Ganga Cottages garners praise for its immaculate cleanliness and rooms that blend modern comforts with rustic charm, offering breathtaking views of the Ganges. The hotel's atmosphere is not only visually appealing but also spiritually uplifting, especially noted during the Ganga arti ceremonies. Its desirable location is celebrated for easy access to attractions and natural surroundings.
While the amenities, including pet-friendly policies, vegetarian cuisine, and daily yoga, contribute to a serene stay, the service stands out for its warm and efficient staff despite occasional check-in delays. Opinions on value vary, but the overall hospitality experience is highly regarded.

A beautiful place and the owners and team there were so welcoming and helpful. A special shout out to Mohit at front desk who helped me with a lot of paperwork and advice as I was staying here just as the Coronavirus crisis started to become more serious in India. Seema and Vivek, the owners, are so friendly as well and always approachable and show genuine interest in their guests.
I stayed for 2 nights in the new part of the property, Antalya, which has brand new, beautifully designed and luxurious rooms with balconies overlooking the Ganga river. The showers have glass on one side so you can see into the room and out to the river if you so wish. Extremely comfortable bed, pillows, duvet and towels, very plush and soft. While there I learned that they have installed a water filtration system on site which allows makes the towels so soft when washing, but also reuses water from the showers to flush the toilets and then water the garden, truly a remarkable effort to conserve resources. The restaurant serves breakfast for both properties as well as all day dining and offers a great buffet & a la carte choice.
I also stayed one night in the historic part of the property, Divine Ganga Cottage, which is more budget friendly and basic, but you can enjoy the same service and restaurant & terrace areas.
They can also arrange a teacher for yoga classes or you can use their space for your own practice.
Would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay and explore Tapovan.
Overall very caring service, I’ve even received an email from them today to enquire about my health and wellbeing now that India is in lockdown due to COVID-19.

It has been a while since I could find in a hotel, the comforts of tradition blended with contemporary hospitality!
I went to Antalya to celebrate my birthday during my stay in Rishikesh, and I ended up spending 29 days. What most caught my attention is that I could puck amongst many different types of rooms, so if budget caught me up, I could simply change rooms and not hospitality. The view from the balcony’s is amazing!
The water fountain simply remove all the noisy thoughts, bringing reflection and contemplation upon our minds!
Viveka, Seema and Naman... Pradeep and all the members on the Antalya team, try very hard everyday to see if One can be more happy and comfortable!
The food is amazing, I had enough time to try my favorites on the menu many times, and it tasted like “home made food”! The rooms on the new wing are fantastic and so are the simpler rooms from the “golden ager” Divine Ganga Cottage, which cannot be forgotten!
The Kirtan at the “Terrace” will be always carried in my memory, of how much I enjoyed the time I spent in Antalya!
This Hotel has tradition and suits all my tastes, when it come to comfort and hospitality! I hope you can enjoy as much as I did! I have faith One can really relax and enjoy all the facilities in that magical place!
My best wishes of success and prosperity to all the Antalya Family!

Surrounded by the serene himalayan mountain ranges and the Ganges flowing by the side , Antalya offers you a beautiful view and is also located in close proximity to all hotspots. All the rooms have a balcony overlooking the Ganges. We requested for bonfires and that along with the cool winds made the nights all the more better.
Antalya's restaurant offers you very delicious food, the produce all fresh and organic right from their own backyard.
The room's are neatly designed and well lit and comfortable, room service carried out neatly and on time . The staff and management was easy to communicate with and were helpful.
The host was very friendly and considerate and made our stay even better. Bonus points to this property as they have a beautiful fluffy pupper, a husky named Hugo.
Overall experience and stay at this property was amazing, you will surely leave this place feeling peaceful and happy
Definitely return-worthy!

Overall stay was Ok. Overall properly is good. Location is also fine. Our stay was just close to average. Deluxe and Standard rooms are overpriced. Rooms are very small and no proper windows to have a decent view. On busy days, room service is poor. Generally food was getting cold on reaching room. Too much cold wind blowing, on the side of deluxe rooms. Given such location, there should be glass walls in balcony for the comfort of visitors.
In parking, there should be someone taking care of visitors cars, as our car got scratched when we next day checked it.
In deluxe rooms given the space is less ,furniture is also very less.
We asked room service guys for our sanitized bottle that got misplaced, but no one updated us back if it was available or not. People seem not much bothered about deluxe and standard room visitors.

The location was perfect with every room facing the river. Food was fresh and excelled most of which are organic and home grown. Loved the Siberian Huskey they had. Also very friendly staff. We stayed during the Corona Virus breakout, So the owner of the place made sure each room was sanitised and cleaned. Overall stay was excellent and I’m definitely coming back here for the view and hospitality.

This place is an insult to luxury (especially their old property) and I am pretty sure that you will get something else as compared to what you see while choosing this property from the hotel booking sites (like MakeMyTrip and others)
The room, washroom, and bed size are extra small. No electric kettle and complimentary tea coffee sachet in the room in the room (if your call is it a luxury stay then this is the minimum standard).
This place is a bit difficult to reach and not at all recommended for the new drivers
They offer one of the best breakfasts in the nearby area.
The hotel staff is really friendly and they walk the extra mile to make your stay comfortable but they are a bit slow compromising with the safety front as there is no thermal check at the time of entry, most of the staff are not wearing masks.

What a relief it was to arrive at The Antalya Yoga hotel par excellence ! Right from the beginning I was blown away by the staggering view of the Ganga and surrounding hills / mountains from my room- balcony. I have no doubt that this is the prime view in all of Rishikesh. Want a swim in the Ganges its a quick walk to Ganges bliss. But there was so much more. The family that manages this hotel went far beyond and exceeded all expectations. Lets start with the food, which was of a continuous variety. ( i wonder what they are going to serve today ? ) i could write a book on the deserts lovingly prepared by Seema . Oh my God ... we all felt cared for like a mother who watches over every guest with sincere interest. I've hardly met a more engaging host. And then you will meet the equally Vivek who welcomes you as if you are part of the family. Due to these exceptional times we are in, their sons Naman & Manan and beautiful daughter Nishta were also continually being of service to the needs of the guests. This was Indian hospitality at its finest with a western attention to detail. There were continuous events going on from Kirtan to fire dances and even an Ecstatic dance if you so desired. Let me remind you this was the quietest time due to the 2020 situation in the world. Most of Rishikesh was quiet, but this hotel Antalya was rocking and fully booked rooms with constant workshops. Quite simply its the focal point of Rishikesh. I stayed two and half months ... ! let me mention that they have three Very large Yoga rooms Soon there will be a full Spa with flotation tanks. With thanks Raqib - Peter Gordon

The stay at Antalya was not of the best stays in and around Tapovan. The reception staff was so friendly and approachable. The staff is hotel's lovely always with a small and positivity and maintaining all the necessary precautions at the time of the pandemic. We felt extremely safe and secure at the property.
Oh my god, the food, it was exceptional. We tried Breakfast and Dinners, they have some magic going on in the kitchen. Rooms were spacious, clean with mind-blowing views of Mother Ganges. The property has Yoga Studios you can use, Massage therapist and the best staff.
Everything was perfect and highly enjoyable. It was like staying at your friend's place, a touch a home in everything they do and highly thoughtful about the environment. All the water is recycled and strictly no pollution kitchen and many more.
Visit the place to enjoy the best Rishikesh has to offer. Stay at this place with your family & friends at many pricing options.
Can't wait to stay there again soon. Lots of Love and I hope you have a better year ahead.

Antalya Rishikesh attempts to sell rooms with a view at a high premium. Atleast that's the first impression a guest looking to stay get. We too were expecting for a quiet stay with a view of Gangaji.
The owner insisted over the phone, all rooms have a good view of the river. What we found out was something else or atleast her version of the word "good view". All rooms that end with 4, 5, 6 & 7 do not have a view. The view is blocked by a tree (seen in the photo). Rooms that end with 1 & 2 are suites. The only rooms with unrestricted views are 3 & 8. Series 3 rooms are poorly maintained with paint peeling of the walls. Series 8 rooms are blocked by the owner.
Given these circumstances, it's not without reason that the front desk insists on collecting the full price of the entire duration of stay at check in. If you are in the mood to put up a fight for your just requirement for the premium rate you paid, you may or may not get Room series 8 or 3. If those rooms are occupied, you'll be at the mercy of the hotel, who might force you to pay for the suite room. Not ideal for a peaceful stay at what is supposedly the yoga capital of the world.
The room offered to us was not cleaned or santised. After requesting our room cleaned, they cleaned only the living area, and left out the bathroom & balcony. We could not tolerate any further mismanagement & interaction, so we cleaned them ourselves.
We stayed in a king room with balcony. The housekeeping refused to offer us bathrobes. Bathrobes are apparently provided only to guests in suites. Please note that these king rooms cost 9000-12,000 a night.
The food is ok, nothing to write home about. For the price, we didn't think it was worth it.
The room was comfortable and well designed but the bathroom was a little too small to our preference. The screens dividing adjoining balconies are a little short from the walls and do not cover the entire width of the balcony. The guests from other rooms could see into adjoining balconies and small part of the adjoining rooms. Hence, privacy is not the best.
The lane leading to the hotel is narrow and fits a single car with no room to spare. Guests in their cars get stuck when another vehicle comes in from the opposite side, at which point, the guests are forced to reverse all the way back. Not an easy task given how narrow the lane is.
Zafar in front office was good intentioned and helpful. We did not find the owner or the rest of the staff friendly.

dear remyal 1 In king balcony EVERY room has a private balconyany one can see and enjoy Ganga view from ALL rooms. Eack room has a 12 ft wide balcony rooms ending 4,5,6,7 is a 12x4 48 ft wide balcony . there is no tree that blocks a 50 ft with area !!! rooms ending with 1 is alone a junior suite as is larger in size .not any room ending 2 room ending 3 may have had paint peeling in sone spot some where , on that day . Room ending 8 is never blocked by the owner . You are may be confusing our resort with some other perhaps as description after all last numbers are in correct we do collect the full 100%charges upfront as a "standard hotel policy." but no one is at our mercy , as a result of it. We do clean and sanitize all rooms , along with bathroom and balconies on each use. There is no way we allow guests in without doing so and a supervisor rechecking on it specially in these pandemic era Even in case of late check out , we would rather delay the check in than to give a uncleaned balcony and most importantly bathroom . This is so because it will be vey difficult for the guests to do the same in absence of all professional gear and chemicals . Bathrobes are indeed provided in suites and not with king room @9k to 11k but exceptions can be made ,if requested . Its very unfortunate and i regret that having paid for the King pvt balcony room we could not satisfy you and you seem to have left with terrible memories of our property . your trust bestowed in us by giving us a oppurtunity to take of you is all that matters . we always aspire to make beautiful memories during your priceless moments invested in us . Room Cleaning is basic , view/ location every one says - we are one of the best , services are great . but yet i wish you had shared your concerns with us during your stay to take care of anything and everything to cherish each precious moments spent with us let me share with you :- In balcony had we had designed a prototype - bigger / larger / private partitions too . it did not look so appropriate , . no one really peeps in another ones rooms by leaning over the railing . its been our experience , however i respect your fear , its possible, if some one is hell bent . We have employed specially 3 guards ( 3 rd being a back up emergency ) They are there to ensure no car is ever stuck in the narrow 40 yards approach road . this apprehension of a car stuck is also true but is taken care of constant traffic manement in between 2 guards

This new hotel (they also have some cheaper, older rooms) has an excellent staff, eager to give service. When we were there (end of February 2020) they were still having running in problems, but they were working hard to correct them. The location is excellent, with great views on the Ganga. Our only real reservation was with the kitchen/dining room - poor service and only passable menu for breakfast, but restaurants at all levels are close by. Don't miss a visit to the charity school, underneath the hotel, supported in part by the hotel owners.

the hotel has the single largest parking space in rishikesh. you can probably pak about 35 cars simultaneously.
no morale policing here .
unmarried couples / fiends are welcome as long as they are adult and possess valid IDs
standard rooms are relatively much more compact (small) though are well ventilated and sufficient natural light comes into the room but are overlooking hotels garden and paddy fields.
Delux rooms usually have ganga view from a window and relatively larger in size and have a larger bathrooms as well.
G'day Sylvia to be honest we really enjoyed DGC and stayed there for a week and really loved it. Our room was exceptionally clean and staff and restaurant great! We stayed on 2nd floor wghich had awesome views over valley and Ganges opposite Ayuvedic centre which I would recommend highly. Ground floor did look a bit dark but never went there.
I booked via Bookings. com but when we arrived they were willing to extend our stay at a discounted rate. Perhaps try them directly and see if you can get a better price than online?
Not difficult to find via signs and only about 3 - 5 mins walk from the main road. Tuk tuk drivers can take you closer down the lanes if you are coming by bus.
If of interest I would also consider visiting nearby Haridwar about 45 mins away by tuk tuk. The river worship ceremonies at dawn and dusk are by far and away much more authentic and as a pilgrimage site an an amazing place to spend a day or two if you have time.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Cheers, Mark
