During my 4 days stay in Rishikesh, I stayed in Delight Inn - The Shivaay hotel and it was a wonderful experience.
Firstly, humility, courteousness exhibited by Ravi, Rakesh who are managing this property and also the owner of the hotel (Chetan) was truly laudable. They are genuinely living and practicing the famous Indian method of hospitality of Atthiti Devo Bhava.
Hotel is close to the most frequently visited place of Lakshman Jhula. Just 5 mins walk. This place has a parking for car.
Importantly - clean, hygienic room and toilet. The room and toilet are spic and span. The linens and sheets are clean and a very comfortable, cozy and a stay under hygienic conditions which is extremely paramount from health and safety standpoint.
Over and above this, the food (although the portions and servings could have been better), however, is delicious and reasonably priced. I had my dinner at the hotel itself and this was much better than eating out in other standalone restaurants which are plenty in the vicinity.
Overall, excellent stay and a good VFM proposition and would definitely recommend from my side. I'm going to be choosing this place each time during my next visits to Rishikesh for sure!

Most memorable stay at this property. Humbleness and hospitality is the biggest asset of the owner Mr. Kamlesh (Owner) and Mr Rakesh Negi (Manager).
Hotel rooms are exceptionally clean. Staff is too cooperative. Food quality is super best. Food is homely food and not typical hotel type food cooked up with 8 days old gravy.
Rates are best matching rates. Initially i thought I am paying too much. Then visited outside and checked room quality and rate. Too my surprise, this is the best rate and standard of hotel i have secured in Rishikesh. You don't have to really negotiate.
If you are travelling with family or planning to send old age parents - just book this property. It's a end to end package. They will provide all information, arrange cab for us at reasonable rate.

After referring reviews of many hotels in Rishikesh, I selected the Shivaay hotel Delight Inn located on tapovan main road area and I finally booked 2 rooms for my family of 4 persons. My experience is very good as per expectation. There is slope with 90 deg angle for entry to hotel where parking space of few vehicles is available Tapovan auto rickshaw stand is also located nearby on main road (10 min walk) from where auto is available for Ram Jhula and Triveni Ghat. Laxman Jhula is also located near but unfortunately it closed since long for repairing / renovation. The restaurant at top of hotel serves good tasty Indian food. Room service is also good. I recommend this hotel to stay in Rishikesh.

Hotel staff behaviour is too good. Very polite and considerate. I have visited with my 3 yr old kid and wife. Mr. Rakesh Negi and Chetan Singh offered best of the hospitality whether it is less spicy food for kid or any special demand for kid. Good quality and tasty food. The best and unique feature of this hotel is its terrace where you can really enjoy the evening breeze or morning discussions with your loved ones.

Great location, in Tapovan area close to Laxman Jhula . Stayed in the hotel for a day. Very spacious room, well sanitized & equipped with required amenities for a comfortable stay. Even washroom is very clean & tidy. The front desk staff is very cooperative & helpful . Room & restaurant service is simply matchless . I recommend stay at this hotel to all visitors

Really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was always super helpful. Any time I had questions about anything they were super quick to answer.
The food was actually awesome. We ordered room service a bunch despite so many other good restaurants around.
And the location was superb. Will def stay here again.

Just close eye and book it. It's cheap and yet nearly provides 4* hotel services. Rooms are superb. Lift is superb and specious. Owner and Caretakers are very helpful. We booked 5 rooms for my family. If you are couple/friends, take room situated on tarrace. Tarrace is the best part of stay with huge mountain view and windy experience. Its nearby Laxman zula. Go for it.

Pros: 1. Room was good and comfy 2. Staff was courteous
Cons: 1.Hotel is in small interior roads and there are no name boards on the main road. Difficult to find 2. Food was OK but the milk in the restaurant is suspicious. Hope it is not adulterated. 3. Do not take the Rafting operator recommended by the Hotel. He is a cheat. Charges 1800 for just 4-5 still photos and 2-3 small videos of few min each. Not even a Go-Pro camera, but a cheap Chinese clone. I had paid a few hundred rupees as advance and when i saw the photos and videos, they are a total waste. Refused to pay the balance and told him to keep the photos for himself.

Hotel Shivaay was my first stop in Rishikesh. I arrived late at night, it was raining. Compared to the other locations where I visited a few rooms, this hotel seemed to be a good value. The rooms are big, clean and very quiet if you need to rest. The staff of is always smiling and ready to help and willing to make your stay memorable. Don't hesitate to order something from the restaurant, it's a good value too. Thank you for making my first trip to India so special. :)
