Situated in Tapovan, just a short distance from Ram Jhula—Rishikesh's main tourist area where most of the attractions are located—Divine Resort and Spa is beautifully set right on the banks of the Ganga, offering breathtaking views of the river. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with traditional malas and hot ginger honey tea. Our favorite feature of the property was its private access to the secluded banks of the Ganges. We spent hours dipping our feet in the cool water, soaking in the morning sun, and collecting pretty stones.
The resort hosts a private Ganga aarti every evening exclusively for guests. It is a serene and peaceful experience, with only a few guests present, a pandit chanting mantras, a setting sun, and the soothing sound of the flowing river. This intimate setting also allows guests to perform the aarti themselves, unlike at the main ghats where you are usually asked to pay to do so. This private Ganga aarti is truly a divine experience.
Overall, the incredible views of the Ganga were something we couldn’t get enough of. Divine Resort and Spa is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay in Rishikesh for a blissful, tranquil escape amidst nature, all while being right next to the holy Ganga in all its glory.

We stayed in river view room. We stayed in 2nd wing 6th floor. River View from balcony was awesome. Room is also good, size also big.
Bathroom needs renovation, flush not working properly, less force of water, no full glass partition between shower area and basin-toilet.
Toiletries - 3/5 Shower gel bottle wasn't of good quality. No conditioner provided.
Restaurant - 4/5 Food taste variety and service all were good Just one suggestion to provide napkin on the table and keeping spoon fork on d table itself.
View from Swimming pool area , skydining area and 8th floor reception is best.

The hotel behaves as if its doing a favor on customers by allowing them to stay with them. The front desk staff especially the managers are thoroughly unprofessional. We paid Rs 12000 per night for 2 rooms for 2 nights and it doesnt deserve to be paid more than 5000/- per night. We had a small Shih Tzu dog with us. On the evening of the second day, the manager summoned my wife to inform him that the dog charge was Rs 2500 per night ,something which they did not explain to us at the time of check in, nor did they make us sign any pet policy. However on the second day, they handed us a pet policy and asked us to either sign it or face a check out. The manager told us that we did not disclose to them that a dog was travelling with us, while my friendly pet was roaming about their property as well as the front desk for the last 36 hours. The manager clearly meant that we were liars. A friend of mine reasoned with them that the pet charges were Rs 1000 per night which was charged to him earlier, they later agreed. Absolute greed and non-transparent hotel !! breakfast on every day was exactly the same. No variety. Half cooked potatoes, oily puri, hard idlis.....Not worth the stay at all. At the time of check out the manager had no clue of the final invoice amount and kept adding charges on the fly. Dog lovers...please avoid!!

This spa offered an exceptional massage experience! The therapist was highly calm and professional. The treatment room had a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, with soft music and gentle lighting. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and at ease. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a top-notch massage.

After a roller coaster life of 6 month, i desperately wanted to go for a short vacation next to Ganga as it is very close to my soul.
Divine was strongly recommended by my few family member's who had been to this resort and had a great stay experience. The biggest reason of recommendation was the river side location with direct access to the river and a small Beach.
It was a sudden plan and my friends wanted to explore other resorts also so we didn't book anything in advance. After visiting 2-3 resorts, finally we landed in Divine and there was no another thought of going anywhere else from here. Vides of resort were so positive and views were mesmerizing. Room charges were reasonable but unfortunately no rooms were available in our budget. Post our continuous request and begging to Mr. Anil Gusai - Director "Sale", we were offered a "Presidential room" which was reasonable according to the room but was totally out of our budget still we decided to have a look. When we entered into the room, we got zapped with the Ganga view from full length glass walls. It was a completely glass room with 180 degree Ganga view. Staying in that room turned out to be the best decision of ours during the trip.
Balcony was big and spacious. Humming voice of Ganga, Drizzle, lovely music, friend's chit chat in light's view across the river made us sit in balcony till the sun rise and we loved it too. Unforgettable life time memory for us.
Hospitality was great. Staff was very cordial and humble. Always smiling and quick in response and of course wont forget to mention "caring" too. Me and my friend ( we two girls) wanted to go for a walk at 2 am in night as it was beautiful weather. Security humbly asked us not to go outside gate and take a walk in hotel premises only but post our request he requested us to take walk till his radar only. Each and every person in staff looked happy, pleasant, very comforting and confident.
Food was amazing, dining hall is also a glass room with Ganga's magical view. Tea hut had a view of Ram Jhula. And i cdhv sit there for hours actually.
Overall an amazing experience, serene and soulful time coz of location. A memory to cherish lifetime and a motivation to visit Rishikesh for holiday again..
Looking forward to be there again.

This resort was truly exceptional, offering a wide array of amenities including carrom, chess, and ping pong. The rooms boasted picturesque views of the Ganga River, and every aspect of the accommodations exceeded expectations, including the delectable cuisine. The dining options were diverse, featuring delights like Rasgulla, Gulabjamun, ice cream, fresh fruits, a variety of juices, flavorful gravies, pasta, sandwiches, and more.

A heartfelt thank you to Divine Resort & Spa for hosting our wedding and making it one of the most cherished memories of our lives!
The serene Ganga-side location was a dream come true. Every event was beautifully executed from our mehendi, sangeet, haldi, and wedding on the riverbed to the reception. A special aarti by the Ganga was also organized, adding a magical and spiritual touch.
The food, especially the chaat, was outstanding, and the F&B team, led by Mr. Omkar, ensured every detail, including the 3-tier wedding cake, was flawless. The spa also provided much-needed relaxation, loved by us and our guests alike.
Each department—F&B, rooms, entertainment, and spa, worked with professionalism, honesty, and care, and the staff’s politeness made the experience seamless. Our guests can’t stop raving about the stunning venue, delicious food, and impeccable service.
Thank you, Divine Resort team, for making our dream wedding a reality.
If you’re planning a celebration by the Ganga, this is the place to be!

Very average stay. Location is great but the service level is poor. For 2 days we had no hot water. Hotel keeps sending an engineer out but there is no greater understanding in the issue until a man in a suit over heard the problem and got it sorted. Poor signage on the back door. We had a family of monkeys come into our room on the first day and snatched at the sugar packets. The inclusive or prepaid dinner package meant we sort of had a set menu. You would be better off going for A la carte. According to my booking I had the executive room Ganga view. The view was nice but the room was poor quality. small with lots of furniture and very dusty and dirty. I dont think there is any management checking the state of the rooms. We noticed some of the other rooms were much more modern and bigger... so check your options There are a lot of nice accommodation options in Rishikesh for a better price. The breakfast was good here and the service in the restaurant was also good.
