Me and my husband were looking for a quiet location to spend a couple of relaxing days. The moment we arrived to Villa Venus we felt like at home. Warm welcome from the owners and the staff, the reception area, the garden and the entrance already left a very good first impression. Than we were shown to our room which was gorgeous aswell. Comfortable bed and pillows, lovely view to the nature and excellent bathroom with a shower provides a Spa experience itself. The room, the hotel, and the spa were amazingly clean. The hotel is very close to the highway so with our rental car it was very easy to visit a couple of interesting places in the area. It is not a tipical touristic area, really quiet, relaxing and free from the stress of the big cities. The breakfast is really nice with sweet and savoury options and excellent coffee. We dined here every day lunch and dinner and the food was excellent with regional tipical dishes and a great selection of Italian wine. We certainly had a brilliant time and already planning our next visit. :)

My husband and I stayed in this lovely hotel with friends in September on our genealogy search. The lobby is very inviting. Cozy seating areas. The rooms are immaculate. Not too fancy but provided all we needed for a 4-night stay. The shower is amazing. Jets from head to toe! We had a lovely little balcony with bistro table and chairs and overlooking front courtyard area. We enjoyed the spa (extra 25 Euros)- Jacuzzi, steam room, dry sauna, tea service, and seating area. We were provided cozy robes and slippers. Our room rate came with morning continental breakfast- croissants, pastries, yogurt, hams, cheeses, granola, fruit, tea, coffee, and cappuccino. It was perfect for us. We also enjoyed dinner 2x in the restaurant. There was a great selection that fit many diets and the food was delicious especially the vegetables. They were able to accommodate my husband who has celiac. The best asset to Hotel Venus is the staff. They made our trip. Jessica, Theresa and Francesco are top notch. They were so incredibly helpful from the moment we walked in until we checked out. They even helped us deal Eurocar when we had an issue with our rental vehicle. They were also very patient with our broken Italian and they speak beautiful English. Francesco also assisted us when we had cousins come and meet us at the hotel for dinner. He made our large group feel at home. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay at Hotel Villa Venus again

Very friendly reception. Enough free parkingplace. Pretty close to the highway A3. Noise was not an issue because there is a noise fence and the A3 is situated much higher than the hotel. The surrooundings are worthwhile to visit. Plenty of good restaurants in the neighbourhood to visit by car. It is a small hotel with two floors. Rooms are on the small side but ok. A safe is big enough for ipad not for a laptop. What suprissed me was the "German cleaness" of the hotel Really Good! Going to the elevator from lobby is stairs up 4 or 5 steps. not really handy for disabled. Good shower no bath. Plenty towels! Aircon is 55 db!! at night and you really need it in sumer. Breakfast is 6/10 very limited selection. No aircon was on in the breakfast area. Price for 2 adults and 3 kids two conneting rooms €130 including breakfast. Internett I can't remember. Outside is a clean! and modern swimming pool (+/- 4m by 11m) with deckchairs and seats. Very nice for the kids and refreshing. All together good hotel for one or three nights.

I recently stayed at the Charming Hotel Venus. It has an excellent location for self-drive in Southern Italy. The rooms are simple but have a wonderful multi-jet shower. Besides the helpful staff, the best part is the lovely swimming pool. Finally, there is a stunning 800 year old Olive tree in the front drive as you enter.
