All I can say about myecolodge is fantastic!
I would like to say thanks especially to the front desk staff, Tessa, who've been very helpful to us since before the day of our arrival!!
MyEcolodge provides free shuttle to lawson, grand hirafu gondola, hirafu welcome center. So dont worry if u carry gears or luggages, it is very convenient!
They have huge ski storage on the basement and its safe to leave your gear eventhough you dont have locks.
Ski gear rental is only next door and they give us special discount bcos we're staying in myecolodge.
The room is clean and neat but rather small, japanese standard, but we managed to sleep comfortably. The only note is, please change your pillows to a softer ones :)
See you next winter!!!!!

I stayed here by myself in a 4 bedroom dormitory and was very pleased with the stay. Staff were very friendly and offered great advice and were there to help if you needed anything. Kitchen was good as well as bathroom and showers considering you shared with a lot of people. The free shuttle bus leaves every half hour which is very convenient as it is a 20 minute walk into town otherwise.
The breakfast was average but there is a 7/11 across the road instead. Overall very happy and would definitely come back here again

Positives include an amazing heated and spacious ski room, great little ramen restaurant on site, SUPER 7-11 across the street for evening meals and lunches, excellent soba restaurant next door, bakery where you will find great rye bread, filling breakfasts included along with very handy shuttle service to the mountain. To know in advance, the rooms are basic and small relatively small but include a king size bed that was very comfortable. Bathroom very functional with modern amenities and great water pressure. Each floor has a common kitchen area with microwave and fridge - table and chairs. Laundry on site. Ask for a room that faces the back of the building for lovely views and ideally on the top floor.

Room Tip: Ample parking. Ask for a room facing backside. Walkable to town - 20 minutes.

The hotel breakfast is full of energy, and ramen is provided for dinner. The price is relatively cheap and the portion is large. The room is not big, but it is enough, clean, and well insulated. Even if the heating is turned off at night, it is still not cold. The kitchen has a large refrigerator for simple cooking. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and can pick up guests from the station and send guests to Biafra. They answer questions very carefully. Once I went to the supermarket and came back without a car, I notified the hotel and they were willing to pick me up, which was very heartwarming. I will stay here again next time! Worth recommending!

By far the best hostel I have stayed at, everything is brand new which is a given since it just opened.
Lots of space in the room and the hostel itself which also has its only food joint. Couple of food places nearby and bus stop is right outside, about 5 min to town.
Only one con was no lift however its only one floor to go up or down.

Only opened last month, so really new and clean.
Room and bathroom were tiny, but we made it work and it was fantastic for the price compared to other options.
We stayed in a double room, it was two singles pushed together, but was quite comfortable. We had a beautiful view from our room.
Short walk to the free shuttle service that runs every 15/20 mins, probably too far to walk to town.
Note: there's no tv or hairdryer

I took the Niseko shuttle from Chitose airport to get to this hotel. Took me about 2 hours to get there after 4 other stops at various hotels and the Niseko Welcome Center. I arrived at the Kutchan train station, where I had arranged for a complimentary pick up to get to the hotel. Nice modern room where breakfast was included the next morning. Took the complimentary shuttle to Hirafu for my ski lessons. Very conveniently located near the ski slopes. Had dinner at the hotel as there were no other eateries in the vicinity. Coin operated laundry at the basement was a plus in recommending this hotel.

Very modern hostel like accomodation. Friendly staff and very clean amenities. Only issue was transport to ski slopes. This place is right in front of a bus stop, however while I was staying there, the bus was rarely on time - apart from the 8am bus. Something to consider if you don't have a car.

We stayed in the Twin Room that came with a bathroom/wc. Rooms are basic but clean, bright and well ventilated. The front office staff was very helpful and nice even during our reservation process online. They even do pick up from the Kutchan station. There isn't any form of entertainment in the room, so you'll have to proceed to the communal hall, which is really a welcoming idea as you get to meet other boarders. The surroundings are simply amazing and there is a soba restaurant, an don restaurant, an Italian restaurant and a bakery within walking distance.
Breakfast was good and was offered along with our room.
There is a laundry room and also a pantry. And also storage at the basement for skis and snowboards.
During the winter season, Ecolodge provides a shuttle to and from Grand Hirafu.

This is a wonderful place to stay if on a budget. We booked a twin room for four nights and were not disappointed in any way. We were picked up from the station by the lodge's free shuttle and were given a very good tour of the facilities on arrival. The rooms, while small , were all we needed as we were out in the morning and back late in the afternoon. While it was freezing outside, the room was snug without being overly hot. The lodge's lounge was a great place to meet others from around the globe and many an hour was spent here after dinner. There is a ski hire centre about 100m up the road that offered a very decent discount because we were staying at MY ECOLODGE. There are a number of free shuttles to and from the mountain resorts.

Hi 933stanis, when we stayed at Ecolodge in Oct 2018, the room size was approx. 140-160 sq ft. Comfortable for 2 Adults but I think 3 Adults would be the maximum.
There are no beds just Futon (Jap mattresses) on the floor - which the guests have to lay the futons themselves in the night.
Equipped with common toilets both upstairs & downstairs but main bathroom with a soaking pool aka Onsen is located on the 1st level.
I am not sure if there are larger rooms to accommodate 5 people?
All 12 of us stayed in twin-sharing rooms.
You could forward your query to Ecolodge directly after reserving your rooms on BookingCom The Manager speaks English and is very helpful.
Hope the above helps.
