I stayed here by myself in a 4 bedroom dormitory and was very pleased with the stay. Staff were very friendly and offered great advice and were there to help if you needed anything. Kitchen was good as well as bathroom and showers considering you shared with a lot of people. The free shuttle bus leaves every half hour which is very convenient as it is a 20 minute walk into town otherwise. The breakfast was average but there is a 7/11 across the road instead. Overall very happy and would definitely come back here again

Nestled in the middle of Grand Hirafu and Mt. Yotei (the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido) mountains stands this quaint charming budget boutique hotel that provides both shared common rooms and private rooms to their guests. It is one of the most affordable and charming boutique budget hotel in Niseko that is conveniently located in Yamada intersection about 10 mins bus ride from JR Kutchan Station using Niseko express. The hotel also offers free pick-up from Hirafu Center or JR Kutchan station but you need to book a day in advance. The lobby is a bit spacious with the lounge and a lot of seating area greeting you. The cafe is just beside the lobby. Check-in and check-out are very fast and the staff speaks good English and provide you all the hotel rules. There is no elevator in the hotel so if you're in the 3F need to walk-up the stairs but the staff could also assist you. We booked a twin room that costs only 200 dollars overnight with a small single pane window with a view of the main road. The beds are single beds combined together but their comfortable and soft. The shower and toilet is just the right space but the water heating is very difficult to adjust specially the hot water by turning just a bit there is a huge difference. The toilet bowl's flush is also not accurately sprouting the right water in the right direction. But other than these the room is very clean and cozy for a cold winter's night. They provide slippers, mini fridge and space for your clothes/luggage and enough power outlets. The breakfast is so unique and cute - a combination of Western and Japanese dishes and their sumptuous. Salad is fresh, Rice is properly cooked and the dishes are absolutely flavourful. WiFi is a bit slow though. The best part if the location just in front of the hotel is a 7 eleven with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Then behold the mountains behind the hotel on a clear day you will see the heavenly majestic amazingly wonderful Mt. Yotei, with its perfect pyramid cone shape they say it is the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido. We are lucky to see it on our stay and we took hundreds of photos and videos and even walked into the back of the hotel walking along the creek and into the endless snow blanketed fields. If you look West from the hotel beholds Niseko Mt. Resort Grand Hirafu, a vast ski resort from the top of Mt. Annupuri. At the base lies the lovely Hirafu Village with many shops and restaurants along its path. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel that goes to Hirafu Center and at the same your could also walk for about 15 mins from Hirafu Village back to the hotel. It is indeed a unique and memorable experience staying at this place and although we only stayed overnight it felt like days. One of the amazing dish we tried here is the famous Hokkaido Miso Butter Ramen, which is truly unique, refreshing and divine. Finally, if we ever go back to Niseko there is no doubt we will stay again here at My Ecolodge - a great place to be.

All I can say about myecolodge is fantastic! I would like to say thanks especially to the front desk staff, Tessa, who've been very helpful to us since before the day of our arrival!! MyEcolodge provides free shuttle to lawson, grand hirafu gondola, hirafu welcome center. So dont worry if u carry gears or luggages, it is very convenient! They have huge ski storage on the basement and its safe to leave your gear eventhough you dont have locks. Ski gear rental is only next door and they give us special discount bcos we're staying in myecolodge. The room is clean and neat but rather small, japanese standard, but we managed to sleep comfortably. The only note is, please change your pillows to a softer ones :) See you next winter!!!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay if on a budget. We booked a twin room for four nights and were not disappointed in any way. We were picked up from the station by the lodge's free shuttle and were given a very good tour of the facilities on arrival. The rooms, while small , were all we needed as we were out in the morning and back late in the afternoon. While it was freezing outside, the room was snug without being overly hot. The lodge's lounge was a great place to meet others from around the globe and many an hour was spent here after dinner. There is a ski hire centre about 100m up the road that offered a very decent discount because we were staying at MY ECOLODGE. There are a number of free shuttles to and from the mountain resorts.

We stayed here in March for 13 nights. We booked a double ensuite room. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, speaking Japanese and English. The room we had was compact but with enough storage space for two weeks of winter clothes, a safe and small refrigerator was included in the price. The bathroom was a normal size with Toto toilet and good sized basin and shower with a shelf for toiletries above the basin and in the shower. Shower gel, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner were supplied as were bath and hand towels and a bath mat. Hairdryer could be borrowed from reception for a small deposit. Don't take even a travel hairdryer from the UK, it was so slow on 110 volts! We had a king sized bed in the room, I would next time book two singles, the room layout would be easier to move around. Breakfast is included in the room price. Breakfast is buffet and includes English and Japanese and was always fresh with plenty of quantity including green tea and coffee. The public areas were also very clean and consists of mainly tables and chairs with a few groups of more comfortable chairs around low tables. The premises has two small kitchens one on floor one and one on floor three. The kitchens are basically equipped but ideal for making hot drinks or microwave meals, basic utensils are provided. If you want to use the kitchen much I would suggest taking your own cup, plate, bowl and cutlery as guests didn't always take these items back after use. The shared bathrooms are really well appointed, the ski and boot room is very large and effective. there is a laundry room, it is a reasonable price, detergent can be bought at reception and change provided. The is a cafe where you can buy lunch or dinner, there are drinks vending machines for hot and cold drinks. The who!e hotel is very clean. There is free parking for a limited number of cars. The public bus stop for buses to Hirafu and Kutchan is right outside. Hirafu is about 5 minutes and Kutchan 15 minutes by bus. The hotel will pick up and drop guests at the train station. There is a free hotel shuttle bus to the ski areas every day every 30 minutes. There are restaurants within 2 minutes walk and a 24 hour convenience store over the road, with cash machine, there are other restaurants within 10 minutes walk. We would stay at this hotel again.

In the Japan price range ends up being ok but is a bit expensive and far from the town center. The shuttle finishes very early could extend at least one more hour and really needs a new stop either by hirafuru intersection or by the rythm rental shop. The bathroom in the rooms that have them is ok but the shower could be better. The breakfast is ok and we did not have it but they serve dinner and lunch even though dinner might finish a bit early. If I would come back probably will try another place. The staff at reception is pretty nice and most of them speak good English. The room is clean every 4th day which I find is ok and enough. In every floor there is a small pantry in case you want to grab something fast from the 7-11 across the street and do it in the microwave. There is an Italian place across the street that is ok for dinner. Keep in mind everything near closes early so you might need to go to hirafuru or kutchan. There is a free bus once a hour to either kutchan or hirafuru and is free if you have an all mountain lift pass.

Its not in Hirafu so much cheaper than all the hotels there. So a little out of the way and can be tiring bringing gear with you up and down That said they do pickups and drop off from Kutchan station. There is also a free shuttle up and down hirafu but only till 4pm (so you have to take the United Bus down if you do some night skiing) Pizza there is delicious. Place is very clean. Also note, Good Sport is also right next door so you can walk over and rent gear from them ( theres a discount if you stay in my ecolodge )

Our stay at MY ecolodge was comfortable and the Twin rooms we had reserved, although it's size was a bit tight for 2 luggage & backpacks to be opened at the same time, it was still a very clean and cozy fit for two people. However, if there were shelves and more table top space available, it would have been more convenient to store/place mobile, iPads, etc... The rate for the room included breakfast which was of a simple spread of Japanese rice & condiments plus bread toast. The breakfast area was bright and spacious. The location of the hotel seemed to be in a convenient spot, not too far from town and the Niseko resort area, there was a soba restaurant next to it if guests were too tired to get around. We had a bit of difficulty in locating the lodge on our vehicle's GPS but was later informed by the Staff that the establishment was considered a new development (less than 3 years), and the site might not be captured/updated in GPS system. We travelled in a group and prior to our check-in we had a few requests and the staff, Ms Carol was very helpful and efficient in responding as well as taking note of our specific requests. Moreover, her colleague Ms Pei and herself were very prompt in contacting us when it was discovered that an item was left in one of the rooms and they had provided us much assistance (to collect/deliver), of which we are very appreciative of. Indeed MY ecolodge deserves praise for making our stay a very memorable one.

I truly enjoyed my 9 nights' stay with My Ecolodge. I was here 2 years ago and very pleased by how much they have improved! The staffs working here are EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and they offer a good spread of Japanese staples and continental breakfast. They provide free pick up and drop off at Kutchan station / Welcome Centre. They also provide shuttle bus ride to the slopes until 4pm at every 30mins interval. If you miss the last shuttle, there's always free Grand Shuttle that you could take 5 mins walk away that brings you to Hanazono/ Hirafu. Coin oparated laundry and snow gear drying room available. I highly recommend this place and I couldn't thank the team enough for making me feel so at-home :) Special shout out to lodge manager Caroline and Kyle! PS. The soba restaurant serves one of the best duck soba

We stayed here for 5 days as a cheap alternative in hirafu .It did not disappoint .we stayed in a 2 bed room with ensuite ,very comfortable , nice beds enough room for our snow gear. there is a huge drying room down stairs for board ,boots etc. .there was a little fridge and safe in room. our friend stayed in the four bed with others was 2 bunks with shared bathroom ,he enjoyed except for the one guy was scared of the dark. The ecolodge free shuttle was terrific and if that wasn't at a suitable time there was the nisekio unitied bus stop out front. or about 100metres up the road was the free grand hirafu bus stop . last bus was 2215 hrs . the lodge has a large common room with huge TV. but the usual Japanese tv no English channels. The breaky was adequate ceral , toast bacon coffee, and the usual Japanese staples. it was a social place help full staff about 10mins in shuttle to hirufu gondola. u could walk back after some beers at pub in hirufu about 1/2 hr on the snowey foot path . note there is a huge drying room down stairs for u board boots gloves etc
