Stayed 2 nights in 2nd floor apartment Quite new so all the fixtures are modern Check-in was easy, apartment was super clean and even household necessities were provided like dishwasher powder, washing machine powder, and all the kitchen kit was new Apartment was much bigger than I expected also which was a bonus Lots of US channels also like fox and axn Great location to explore the niseko area in the summer Staff were friendly as expected I'd stay again when back in Niseko
The Akazora was a great choice for our recent snow trip. Centrally located in Hirafu, right next to the Village Bus Stop (to get you up to the slopes) and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The studio was quite large overall (much larger than what I had expected), with a good kitchenette and nice bathroom (you can tell it is relatively new compared to other properties in Niseko). The ski lockers are down in the basement and have enough room to comfortably store gear for 2 people. The ground floor studios can be noisy when people are coming home after a big night but it wasn't too noisy overall during our stay. I would be happy to stay here again.
Spacious and clean. Very convenient location in Grand Hirafu - walk to shops and restaurants. Great for family. Fair price comparing to other accommodations in this area. Me and kids enjoyed the staying here.
Great location and excellently appointed apartments. They think of everything from a washing machine including the washing powder to all the kitchen stuff you might need. The flats are nicely decorated, very clean and very comfortable. They are also really big, plenty of space for all your stuff. The lockers are large, warm for your ski gear and the bus stops right in front of the building. The location couldn’t be better for bars and restaurants as well. This was so much nicer than being in a hotel. Highly recommended!
We were fortunate to have spent 5 nights in the wonderful Akazora Apartments, Niseko. The accommodation is in a central location right in the heart of beautiful Hirafu ski village. There are a great selection of ski rental stores, shops, dining options and supermarkets, all within a few minutes walk of Akazora. There is a bus stop only a few steps away, that enables guests to easily reach all of the surrounding ski fields by the very efficient and regular shuttle service or you can easily walk to Hirafu in a few minutes. MnK Resorts & Hospitality manage this property and I cannot speak highly enough of their staff . Ski Rentals, transportation, lift passes, transfers, day tours, grocery's and so much more, can all be arranged prior to arrival or the team will help arrange these for you when you are here. The team from MnK are a pleasure to deal with and they go above and beyond with their friendly and helpful service. If you are looking for ski hire or great coffee -the service and coffee offered by Rhythm is outstanding ! Rhythm go above and beyond to ensure that you receive personal assitance and great care when being fitted with quality rental gear. Special thanks to Martin - for all the assitance that he gave to two Aussie travellers. Whilst this was our first visit to Niseko , it definitely won't be our last. You cannot beat the location ,facilities or services offered by Akazora and thank you to the team of MnK for making our stay so special.…
My husband and I have stayed at the AKAZORA for 6 of the 8 years (consecutive) we've been skiing in Niseko. We love it so much we now consider it our other home. We have had family & friends stay at different times with us there in various apartments and they also are very impressed. Just for the record, if ever we do have an opportunity to purchase real estate in the Hirafu area we would without a doubt secure an apartment in this building. The AKAZORA has all the conveniences needed to ensure a great stay weather you go with family, friends or as a couple. There is an elevator that goes from the top 3rd floor down to the basement where there is a secure heated drying room with separate full size storage lockers so your gear is secured and just outside the door is the underground carpark. The building has a concierge that operates from early morning until 10pm to which the main foyer sliding doors are then only accessible with a key only upon entering. The front desk team have changed a few times over the years and each time they have been fantastic, always ready to answer questions and help out where they can. We were greeted this year by the lovely and effervescent Ioana who's beaming smile always made you feel welcome and relaxed as did the rest of the team members (John, Arisa & Ryu). All apartments are spacious throughout, well appointed and have huge beds that are more on the firmer side of comfortable. The rooms are extremely clean and housekeeping is of a very high standard. They have the BEST clothes airer stand thingy that holds heaps of clothing etc. All apartments have a washing machine that's situated within the little drying room just inside the front door. A Shuttle stop is right outside and the AKAZORA is perfectly located to most things incl shops, restaurants, bars, ski hire, and even the ace family quad is a short 5 min or so stroll away. On the cons side of things they have changed the sofas from last year and they are on the very small and uncomfortable side. The bathroom could benefit with a few more hooks for towels and robes and the shower in apartment GO3 leaves a lot to be desired as not only does the force of the water make the shower head misdirect itself but it feels like you are being bombarded by a hundred tiny needles at lightning speed "owch"!!! As far as TV goes, there is no Netflix or the like which would be an even bigger draw card especially on the rest days from skiing etc. Aside from those few personal quirks we love the AKAZORA so much that we are again looking into booking at least one of the apartments again for 2020. Although I consider myself to be an extremely picky/perfectionist I feel there really is very little to disappoint if at all with the AKAZORA, and we highly recommend you give it a try for yourself.…
We had a wonderful stay here. Great accommodation, walking distance to restaurants, with the shuttle bus stop right outside. The extra amenities such as the ski lockers and washing machine made our stay seem like home. However the highlight of our holiday was the staff who each day greeted us with a warm welcome and were always on hand to assist us with our queries. Thank you Arisa, Ryu, Ioana and John! We'll be back
Niseko accommodation is getting pretty expensive so it was a nice surprise to be able to find this little gem which offered a great location near the slopes and the nightlife in Hirafu. Everything is conveniently set up with the skier in mind and yet the price didn't hurt the wallet!
Great location for skiing, transport and restaurants. The team at Akazora were really helpful and organized passes, equipment bookings, transfers, babysitting, grocery deliveries and great ideas on restaurants. Very welcoming place. Good internet.
The staff at Akazora was amazing! Very helpful with anything and everything before and during our stay. Convenient location, close to many restaurants, the supermarket, bus stops and ski lifts. Apartment was clean and spacious and and had everything that you could possibly need. Would definitely stay again!
