Booked this hotel for late Feb ski season. Great looking boutique hotel, and the location can not be beat. The hotel rooms are simple and modern but with nice luxury touches, wished there was a bath tub in our room to relax in after skiing, but at least they have a nice onsen. But there were a few major issues. First, parking is horrible, there were only like 6 parking spaces for the entire hotel and it was extremely expensive to park. Second, there wasn't any staff at the front desk who actually spoke Japanese, very weird for a hotel in Japan, so when I needed help with a dinner reservation, they couldn't find anyone to help me. For the price that you pay for a room here, I felt like this was a very basic thing they can help with. The small kitchen in the room was well stocked with everything you needed to make a nice meal and we really appreciated this. Breakfast buffet was nice and simple, but the food quality was good. Would definitely go back if they can improve on the small issues.

Dear Mr.Eric, Thank you for choosing our ski-in-ski-out hotel for your late February ski season getaway. We're delighted to hear that you appreciated our boutique hotel's modern design and unbeatable location. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with parking and the lack of Japanese-speaking staff at the front desk. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will work to address these issues to enhance the overall guest experience. Regarding the absence of a bathtub in your room, please note that our studio rooms do not include bathtubs. However, we invite you to consider trying one of our other room types, which do include bathtubs, for your next stay. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen in your room and found the breakfast buffet to be nice and simple with good food quality. Your feedback is important to us, and we will strive to improve in the areas you mentioned to ensure a better experience for our guests in the future. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with an even better stay next time. Warm regards, Yuko Furuyama Front Office Manager SANSUI NISEKO

I have stayed about 8 different hotels in Niseko, and I think this one was one of the best. It is a new hotel that has just opened this season and it's on located on Hirafu hill, very close to .Base Grand Hirafu.

Here are pros and cons.

Pros:
1. Location location location! Ski in and out. As we have two small children, this means a lot for us. I didn't need to carry around the stuff, I could come straight back to my home sweet home from the slope.

2. I loved their bed. I checked the mattress brand and it was by Japanese luxury bedding brand called "Takumi Otsuka". Very comfortable. And I loved the down feather pillow that I could sink down to heaven. Also, they use mattress pad with down feather! I loved it.

3. I loved their little amenities. I had never heard of this skin care brand called "Icor" they put in the bath but I fell in love with the products. I ended up shopping their products in Niseko! Also the shampoo, conditioner and soap, they all felt amazing.

4. Staff were very helpful. Whenever I needed something, they were eager to bring anything to our room. Very efficient staff.

5. Breakfast tasted amazing.

Cons:

1. I loved their breakfast though, as they only had 2 options, it gets boring after a few days.

2. Also at the breakfast, the coffee machine took us 2-3 mins a cup and they only had 1 machine. That needs to be changed.

3. The doors in the room were so heavy that one of my kid got caught in the door. but then I heard that they need to have those thick doors for fire safety reason so maybe they can't be changed...

Overall, we had the most comfortable stay ever in Niseko.

Amazing hotel with everything we needed. The hotel just recently opened, and the rooms were beautifully designed and immaculate. The finishing was amazing with top amenities. We stayed in their studio and although small, it had everything we needed.

After a long ski day, we really loved their stone bathroom with good shower pressure and heated toilet. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating with free private hotel shuttle to take us around the area. The private onsen was also heavenly, we're definitely going back!

This hotel is absolute perfection. It is brand new and so gorgeous.

Perfect location: The hotel is ski in/ski out to the Grand Hirafu slopes, which is great. The hotel is located steps away from the Grand Hirafu Welcome Center, which is where the Sapporo airport shuttles drop you off. The hotel is within walking distance of Rhythm (a huge, great ski and snowboard rental shop). The hotel also did offer their own ski and snowboard rentals as well, FYI.

Accomodations: The room was so gorgeous, clean, and modern. The amenities were perfect: Rain shower, coffee/tea, skincare and toiletries, etc. The skincare products were so nice, I ended up buying a few from the hotel gift shop. Also, each hotel room has a dedicated ski locker on the basement level which is so convenient.

Amenities: There is a gift shop with food, beverages, and convenience items in the lobby. The public onsens were incredible. They are male-only and female-only respectively. My boyfriend and I also booked a time slot in the private family onsen which was very nice as well. We did not end up going to the bar in the hotel, but we heard it is one of the best bars in the area.

An extra special thank you shoutout to Andrew and Tara. On the date of our check-out, there was a large storm (yay snow!) that resulted in the train being shut down and all the shuttles were already reserved. Andrew and Tara were able to book us the last private transfer to our hotel in Sapporo at a great rate. They literally saved the day, we were so grateful.

This hotel is absolutely incredible. It is not a matter of IF we’ll come back, but WHEN. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Niseko.

Lovely hotel in arguably the best location in Niseko. Hotel is one of the newest on the street.

Rooms are well appointed and comfortable too. I like the fact is has a washing machine so after lots of skiing and exercise you can do your laundry. Ski in ski out ability is a massive plus and having lockers in the basement is very convenient too.

Onsen is a big plus as well as the new spacious gym with all the equipment you need for a decent workout.

Restaurant is ok and do a good set lunch. Although I feel the breakfast is not overly impressive. Offering is quite limited. I’ve had better in cheaper Japanese business hotels tbh.

Hotel is also walking distance to Rythm if you choose to rent there.

Staff are helpful and always courteous.

First impression of this hotel is warm and simple, but the service is beyond expectation! From check in with a full friendly staff giving me and family welcome drink hot green tea and red bean mochi such a good start for journey to stay. This hotel was very convenient with a free shuttle service for you to going around if you don’t have car but we need to book in advance haha sometimes we can’t use it due some availability that maybe some suggestion to the management to have more shuttle/drivers due winter season, the room was so nice with a view of ski in/out and mountain. Around the hotel also have plenty restaurant you can choose but you need to book in advance also, overall we love to stay here and we recommend this hotel! Definitely will stay again if we back to Niseko in the future! And many thanks to manager Yuko and also Jovi, driver with a french speaker sorry we forget the name but he was so friendly and our kids was happy talking with him, and all the Sansui staff for a brilliant service.

Our family of 4 stayed in the delux 2br and had an amazing time. Rooms are large and had an excellent view of mt Yotei. The children still can't stop talking about how comfortable the bed/pillows were. Ski in/out was excellent when combined with the in-house ski rental/lockers downstairs. The staff went out of their way to make sure we got everything we wanted. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

To the wonderful team at Sansui Niseko. WOW! On behalf of my family and I, we would like to thank you for a most wonderful & memorable stay. Our room, that we shared with our two teenage children, was superb and fitted out beautifully. The views were stunning, stunning, stunning! The ski in - ski out was a huge benefit. The hotel was located close to the 'intersection', close to the shops and restaurants. The onsens were delightful after a day of skiing. The ski staff were very helpful and the ski lockers ideal. Weeven used the gym, overlooking the slopes. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant worth a visit. There was even a small deli, cafe that was stocked well. The staff - elegantly polite, helpful and respectful. Congratulations on the opening in Nov 2022 and we wish you all the very best, We look forward to coming back. Warm Regards.

Fantastic location, fantastic service, fantastic facilities. I visited in April when occupancy is low, hence breakfast was provided in a set rather than the regular buffet, which was fantastic nonetheless.

If I have to nitpick, the only thing they could improve on are the bedsheets, which could be softer.
