Top spot right in town close to everything and has everything you could need. During my stay I was injured and needed help and received the best care and service above and beyond what you'd normally expect.

I visited Owashi Lodge during the Snow Peak season of 2020. I am utterly impressed with the friendliness of staff who were a huge help throughout the check in process. I wasn’t able to check in till 0130hrs which they waited and arranged a pick up from the welcome Center. They also arranged a drop off when checking out. Rooms are warm, small and basic. The rooms are not sound-proof so ensure you bring a pair of earplugs. Beds are basic and hygienic. The shared bathroom is tidy and clean, which is also gender separated. Kitchen becomes busy during peak hours but has basic facilities. The games room in the basement has basic spirits/alcohol being served, however it becomes very very rowdy. This can be said with the common room. I met some amazing people during this stay and was blessed with a awesome roommate. I recommend this for young solo travelers however wouldn’t recommend it for older adults. Close to the Hirafu Welcome Centre only a short 5-10 minute walk. Or a 15 minute walk with Snow Gear. Close to public transport if you want to grab a bus to Kutchan (400yen). A recommendation if you want Amazing Food, izakaya bars and drinks for half of the price in Niseko.

Awesome friendly, helpful staff! Love the bar area.. Ben the barman is a legend, great banter 👌 Love the free pool, ping pong and darts. So easy to make friends when flying solo. Great little cafe in the morning, kitchen facilities are mint! Rooms are decent, beds are pretty stable considering they’re bunks. Amazing location .. will happily stay here again and again

Yes, go to Niseko Grand Hirafu, close to lifts, beds and internet are great. Lodge Bar good. Mountain quiet and lift system good. Food and drinks out cheap. Best buy an all mountain pass, great snow and terrain

Ok, so we are day two of our 9 day stay. All seems pretty good....you know, all the usual comments such as “great location”, “comfy beds” bla, bla, bla. Until, after a good days boarding, a feed and a few beers at a bar, nature calls and I venture to the dunny in a place contained within the country with THE BEST DUNNIES IN THE WORLD!! So riddle me this, I can go to a public dunny, one in a pub, a restaurant, a shopping centre even the little outback dunny you find on the side of a Piste and all have something in common, a BIDET....WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE THEM??? My rating is now a 1 out of 10, one star.
