This was our fifth consecutive year at Vale in January. Like every other year, the hotel and its staff were excellent. The restaurant has in the past also provided good service and a good menu. This year was very...
We stayed in the deluxe studio room and it was very nice with views of Mt Yotei. We had three people in the room with the third bed a futon. A little extra room to put luggage and ski clothes would have helped.
The view is spectacular, the facilities are well thought through from all practical aspects, convenient and perfect location. The best part is the concierge team, namely Jay, Aiman, Nicola and Ish. They have been...
Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment with the living room facing Mount Yotei. The view was amazing and the conceriage service from the apartment was impeccable. The apartment feels...
We stayed at Powder Tracks in a 2 bedroom apartment in January 2019. We found it good value for money. A bit of a walk up the hill to the Gondola but we treated that like a bit of a warm up for us. Quite a large space compared to other 2 bedroom accomodation we have since stayed in at The Maples but this was a lot more expensive to be right on the slopes. We are looking to stay back at Powder Tracks for our next trip due to the value for money. It's close to shops and restaurants. Only slight down side is there isn't a laundry in the apartment but there is a communal one which is easy and accessible.... just have to keep going in and out of apartment to check on clothes. Otherwise it is certainly worth the money...
I stayed here with my family for seven nights from 24 February 2019. It was our first time in Niseko skiing and were recommended this apartment after booking through Deep Powder tours. We stopped in apartment number five which was on the ground floor. The apartment was two bedroom and was perfect for us, it was similar to a one bedroom apartment and a one bedroom studio. The boys stopped in one side of the apartment and we were in the other side. I think in theory the apartment is set up so they can split the apartment into 5A and 5B so they can rent the apartment and studio out separately if they wanted. The apartment was very nice and comfortable with timber flooring. It was warm and whilst it wasn’t the biggest of places (found that Japan doesn’t really do big rooms) it had everything inside it including a dishwasher, full kitchen with plates, cutlery, microwave, coffee/ tea maker etc. There was good internet access via their Wi-Fi system that never cut out and televisions with Netflix and DVD player in both lounge areas (studio and apartment). There was a balcony area and we had cleaners come in every other day to remove rubbish which was great. It was in a great location, in upper Hirafu village approximately 500 metres to the nearest ski lift which was the Ace Family Quad lift which gave access to the mountain. We carried our skis to the lifts every day and it was quite hard, but I think you could rent ski lockers near to lifts which could be another option if you didn’t want to lug your skis about. Below the accommodation there was a large basement area which offered full equipped laundry facilities, secure ski storage and fully equipped ski tuning bench and drying room. It was down some steep stairs which could be a challenge after a day skiing but we all managed it. It was very local to all good eateries and good value for money in my opinion. Just make sure you don’t wear ski boots or spikes in the apartments because there is a charge if you damage the timber flooring. Just for consideration as I spent a lot of the time making sure the children were walking barefoot around the apartments. We didn’t have any issues with anyone else in the apartments or from any noise around where we were staying. Check in and check out was easy and simple. It was clean, luxurious and in a very good location. I would stop here again and would recommend it to other travellers.…
