We stayed in a two bedroom chalet for 2N for 3 of us. This chalet can house 4 pax.
Double storey, there’s a toilet in the upper floor with 2 bedrooms, 1 twin sharing and 1 double bed on each room. There’s a huge balcony where the double bedroom is.
Twin bed room there’s a small window that can be opened. Fans are available on request prior to arrival.
Lower floor there’s complete living room facilities like cable tv, sound system and sofa.
Dinning table with 6 chairs. Microwave, toaster, kettle and thermo kettle, rice cooker, with full cooking equipments like plates, pots, cutlery.
Superb condition! Staffs were very friendly and helpful.
We went to nearby MaxValue mart to buy BBQ pit and had a joyful time BBQ-ing outside the chalet in the cold! 🥶
Highly recommended! We will definitely be back here! Short drive to nearby niseko and hanazono slopes.🏂

My wife, two daughters, and I had a wonderful time at the Rishiri chalet. It was warm and welcoming when we arrived and already filled with groceries for the week. The shuttle bus service was fantastic and we never needed to wait and it was not hard to plan around pickup times as the schedule is frequent enough. The csnow was POWDER and couldn't have been better. My girls are wondering if the igloo we dug out next to the chalet is still there...can't wait until next year!

We stayed in Country Resort during Christmas 2010. It is a wonderful place! Alps chalets with modern interior design, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and dining room. Everything is new and clean. It is a small community separated from the Hirafu town so it is very quiet. There is enough play ground space for the kids for snow war or snowman.
The staff there is very nice and helpful. The Resort Manager, Stuart, picked us up at the Hirafu train station when we arrived. Although the Resort is 5 min drive to the Hirafu town and the ski field, there is free shuttle bus every hour going around the Hirafu town, the lifts, the convenient store and the Resort. The Resort also provides private transfer service so we booked a van to send us to the only Onsen that allows both gender in Niseko area.
There is an Italian restaurant in the Resort called "Country Grill". The food there is beyond our expectation. The steak is imported from Australia and tasted. The dessert is also wonderful.

This place was booked by someone else so it wasn't my choice. However I enjoyed my stay here very much.
After we arrived, the staff came over to our chalet soon after to explain everything to us. We were gratified that there was a shuttle every morning (you need to call the night before to book a seat especially during peak ski seasons) and one that picks you up from Seico mart every bottom of the hour.
No meals are provided but there is a kitchen that is sufficiently stocked for you to cook simple meals. The rooms are clean, as are the towels.
Great place! Small note: Our driver from the airport took a bit of time to locate our chalet because we arrived after sunset. Just remember to stop at the reception first! Even their own staff need to consult a map when dropping us back from Seico mart - the place is big so you need a map.

We spent a week at the Notoro Chalet with our two children (2 1/2 and 4 1/2 yrs old). The Notoro chalet itself was awesome and I would highly recommend it for anyone staying with kids. Kingsize bed upstairs with ensuite bathroom and shower. There were two other rooms, both with twin beds and a split bath for those rooms (toilet on one end of the hall shower on the other) upstairs. Downstairs there was a full bath with a huge tub...perfect for a post ski soak after the kids were in bed. The kids had a grand time and loved playing with the toys provided in the house. The police/fire house, toy cars, and games were perfect. There was even a big bucket of Legos in the closet, but I didn't drag them out since they were well entertained with the other toys. The kids found some dvds in with the games, but put them back in lieu of the other toys they found in the cabinet. I had forgotten to pack books for bedtime stories and was relieved when my son trotted up to me with a book soon after we arrived asking for me to read him this 'new' book. The kids had a blast splashing in the 'really high' bathtub downstairs without me worrying about them soaking everything (bathtub was in a wet room). Oh and the sleds...great to drag the kids around to the front office in or for sledding down the mountain of snow around the house...we even brought them with us to the mountain one day for even more sledding fun. The dry-room just as you entered had all mittens, jackets, snowsuits, boots etc dry in no time. Perfect!
The staff was fantastic and extremely accommodating. From arranging ski school/lift tkts/rental equipment, Onsen reservations, restaurant recommendations, finding a babysitter for a date night, to rearranging things when one of the kids got sick....they helped with it all. They even brought us into town the first night and picked us up when the normal shuttle wasn't running. It snowed several feet every day we were there and the drive was always plowed out in the morning (and again in the evening if need be)--all the fun of being in the snow with a car without the endless shoveling! All in all, Stuart and the staff at The Chalets at Country Resort helped make the trip so easy and even more enjoyable for us.
We plan to go back next year and hope Notoro will be available when we go :)

My family and I spent a total of 6 nights at Chalets at Country Resort recently. The service was beyond our expectation and we were very touched by the warm hospitality provided by the staff there. Right from the driver to the personel at the reception counter, they ensured that our stay there was a memorable one. Though the chalets were located away from the town, we enjoyed the peaceful sleep and rest especially after days of skiing at the mountains. We would like to thank Stuart Cady, the manager who had been very prompt in replying all our mails and arranging our transport. Staff like Tim, Amanda, James and the Japanese driver are gems to the resort and it is definitely the best winter holiday we even had so far!!

I recently had a great time with my wife and son, along with some friends and their two boys, at The Chalets at Country Resort.
Country Resort provided top-notch service that looked after my family from the moment we touched down in Japan. They arranged the airport transfer to the resort, had a rental car waiting for us when we got there, and pre-booked all the activities we requested to do. They even went grocery shopping for us so that we had breakfast in the fridge for the following morning.
In the summer, the ski hills of Niseko are transformed into massive playgrounds with zip-lines, bike trails, tree trekking, inner-tube slides and more. My six-year-old son was in outdoor heaven. The staff at The Chalets made sure our in-car GPS was programmed to get us to all of these amazing places with ease. Everything is in close proximity to The Chalets, usually no more than 20 minutes of easy driving. The longest drive we took was about 40 minutes north to visit the award winning Nikka whiskey distillery (the wives and kids all went fruit picking while the Dads sampled some truly special single malts).
The staff also helped book the best restaurants (places we would never have found on the tourist maps). They also provided lovely baby sitters so that the grown ups could really enjoy the local cuisine.
I'd highly recommend checking out this destination that is often only thought of as a winter playground. There is even more fun to be had in the summer.

It is always a bit intimidating traveling with small kids and the resort made it a breeze. The Chalets at Country Resort took great care of us from start to finish! They stocked our fridge before we arrived and made special runs to the grocery to pick up small things - like diapers for the baby! The service is perfect - always friendly, helpful and kept it simple - so we could enjoy our holiday. The chalets were great for small kids - there was even a gate protector on the stairs.

My husband and I stayed in a 2 bdrm chalet the week before Christmas. We were originally booked in a 3 bdrm w/friends over New Years, but at the last minute our husband's work schedules changed. Stuart was wonderful in helping us change it all last minute and made it all seem unusually easy for that time of year! We couldn't have been happier w/our chalet, it was very cozy and had every amenity imaginable. The shuttle was super convenient, it goes around the complex every 30 minutes in the am, and every hour in the evening. So the few minutes drive to town to ski each day and have dinner each night was free and easy. We were also pleasantly surprised w/their restaurant, Country Grill. We had breakfast and dinner there and both were delicious and the service wonderful. If we're able to return to the Hokkaido, we will definitely stay at the Chalet's at Country Resort again.
