Three-night stay in February in Annupuri West/unit 801 and could not be more impressed. Unobstructed views of the mountain, tastefully appointed with high-quality furnishings, great amenities and excellent kitchen. Just very spaciaous and comfortable all around.

We have stayed at Skye Niseko a number of times now and have always enjoyed our stay. The two bedroom suites are spacious and have all the amenities that one would need. If you have a room to choose, stay in one that faces the ski resort as opposed to the parking lot as it is cooler on that side of the building. The wide windows bring in a lot of sunlight and heat. The best part about staying at this place is that it is well run, and quiet. Although the last few times we have stayed have been during the pandemic, We have not been disappointed by the level of service. As a family of four, with two teenage kids, there has been enough space for all of us to spread out. We would definitely recommend this place.

The room, the service, the ski-in, ski-out ease, royal comfort, and once-in-a-lifetime views were simply amazing. Skye sets a new standard for luxury and skiing - two words that i've never put in the same sentence before. Bravo!

The moment you step into Skye Niseko, one of the newest and luxurious establishments in Hirafu you know you have made the right decision. I had the privilege of staying in room #801, one of the penthouses called Annupuri West. It’s on the top floor with a great view of the slopes and MT Yotei which you can enjoy while relaxing in your own private onsen to watch the sunrise (definitely recommended!) or unwind after enjoying the best powder Japan can offer. Each of the 4 bedrooms being an en-suite was also great. The location of Skye meant you had the option of taking the gondola or the lifts up the mountain, which is definitely an advantage when deciding where you want to ski in the morning. The restaurant in Skye called Kumo was great too. I enjoyed the Japanese breakfast there, full of Hokkaido's best ingredients!

SKYE NISEKO, Annupuri West Penthouse (801). Very specifically, this site. You look down on the surrounding shopping, lift areas and slopes, and you look up at the full breadth of Mt. Yotei - and this is from the outdoor balcony naturally-fed onsen. Open planned, interior design is spectacular, bedrooms are secluded and quiet. This penthouse is the 'best of the very best'.

Location is very important when choosing a ski vacation. I think it can make or break your experience. Skye elevates it. When discussing skiing and accommodations in Niseko, it's really about Hirafu. Hirafu has the best lift system of all four resorts making up Niseko United; the fastest lift access to the peak gates, the best lift access to the other resorts, and the best in-resort off-piste skiing options. Hirafu is also where all the shops and restaurants are. Hirafu is Niseko. It's a fact. And Skye has the best location in Hirafu. In other words, Skye has the best location in all of Niseko. We stayed in one of the four penthouse suites, Annupuri West (#801). We felt doubly lucky, as what makes this suite stand out is its unobstructed views of both Mt. Yotei as well as the slopes of Hirafu. Imagine soaking in the private rotenburo (outdoor onsen) on the terrace after a full powderful day, sipping champagne and taking in the majestic Yotei sunset view. We did exactly that, and it was both relaxing and awesome! The terrace is an Instagram spot like no other for those so inclined. The inside is spacious with the open living/dining area maxed out and designed so that people who want to watch TV can do so while others who prefer hanging out can do that in another section. If you need a little space to do your own work, you can do that too without going back to your own room. Besides two sinks, one wine fridge, and all the equipment and appliances you could think of, what I really liked about the kitchen was that it had a wide selection of glasses; those for Bordeaux, for Burgundy, champagne flutes, high-balls and whiskey tumblers, and in many quantities. My friends and I had an amazing time in Niseko and Skye was a big part of that. I can't wait to go back next year.

My friends and I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and had the most enjoyable week stay at Skye Niseko. The apartment was spacious, clean and had a great outlook straight onto the chair lifts and ski runs. Ski in/ski out made it very easy to plan our days as we could return to our room at anytime if we wanted a break. The ski equipment was great and staff were fantastic at arranging our hire for the week. Great breakfast offering which had slight changes daily. Private onsens were perfect for relaxing the muscles after a days skiing. Hotel is located in a fantastic location and is within easy walking distance to great restaurants and bars in town.

This hotel never accepted cancellations, as all hotels and airlines accept cancellations in Covit19. As mentioned in other reviews, the manager said other guests and the resort is open. When I went there, there were almost no other guests at the hotel and the ski area was rattled. This hotel only thinks about itself. I have no awareness of crisis management. Never stay in a hotel like this. If something goes wrong, they will never claim their legitimacy. By the way, the breakfast was buffet and the hot springs were open even though the corona infection was noted so much. Incredible.

Dear GOLD_gale, With the COVID-19 situation evolving rapidly last February and March, it is difficult to comment on your situation without knowing your stay dates. However, for all pre-bookings last winter, we made it as clear as we can when booking that it is the responsibility of the customer to take out full travel insurance and that any cancellation will be at the expense of the customer. The circumstances last winter were unfortunate for everyone and we offered the movement of bookings to next winter for bookings under certain conditions. I hope you still managed to enjoy your stay during the winter. We are offering flexible terms for bookings for winter 20-21.

Everyone in my party had an amazing experience at Skye Niseko full stop! The service was fantastic, facilities were top rate and the location was second to none in Niseko. Skye is in a class of its own. ...but within the Skye, there is a whole different level as well... the Penthouse - specifically Annapuri West. 4 spectacular bedrooms all with ensuite waterfall showers, a massive living space with a massive kitchen, 10 person dining table, huge lounge area and a private AV area. This is all surrounded (270 degrees) by massive windows and what must have been 15 foot ceilings. Encircled by the roof/deck our natural hot spring fed 'rotenburo' (outdoor bath) was the envy of the mountain. We sipped fine champagne while viewing Mt Yotei, the ski slopes and ski jumps/park area which provided lots of entertainment as we basked for hours. The skiers going by often waved no doubt wanted to join us overlooking the whole Niseko area. Skye is amazing, but treat yourself to the best of the best by booking - Annapuri West!
