The town of Alzejur is not close to the beaches but we decided that it was more important to have the flexibility of visiting places in the town close to the bus stop, castle and grocery stores. This hotel has it all. Right next to a large grocery; a short walk to the bus stop and taxi stand and town market and just down and across the river from the castle. The Hotel itself is clean with a friendly staff and good breakfast.

Room Tip: It was worth eating the castle view even though it was a little more. Room 111 was ours.

No idea why this hotel gets 4 stars. It's like a bland so so budget hotel. But the room was a good size and it's clean and all the staff are really friendly and helpful.
There is a pool although there was a children's party going on when we arrived so not really useable even if it had been warm enough.

Clean and boring hotel - almost aseptic. WLAN works, pool as well. But nothing extra at all - no umbrellas for shade, not a single plant or decorarion. Feeling bad for the people who work there.

Be aware, that "Castle view" also means "plenty of loud traffic and smell" as the hotel is alongside the main road and adjacient to a large supermarket. Look forward to enjoying the pool chair with a parking car at arms length away from you.

We stayed here for a night so we could visit the nearby castle and old town. Check in and service throughout our stay was excellent. We had decent wifi and a decent breakfast. Our room was clean, and the hotel was in a good location - the castle was 15 minutes walk and there was an excellent bistro a couple of minutes away. Good value too.

This is a great hotel in a small town. I was impressed by the quality of the rooms, friendly service and an excellent breakfast. The location is quite central as well. I can strongly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Nice hotel in sleepy part of the town. No restaurant, but there are a few restaurants in walking distance (uphill or over the river). Nice room, good breakfast, clean overall, pool at the back. Garage with room for storing bicycles.

We had a nice room overlooking the pool with a small balcony. The room was not spacious, but adequate and very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating, as was the wifi and breakfast. I am happy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aljezur.

We stayed over for 2 nights, the accommodation was very nice: clean rooms, good service and good pricing.
The restaurant and bar are closed at Sunday, but even so it was possible to get a drink: great hospitality.
Swimming pool was ok, parking was also available for free.
As for the TV, only 4 channels: maybe offer some more choice?

Hidden away inside this Aparthotel is one of the best restaurants on the Algarve !!! Unless you know it's there you could easily miss out on amazing food and hospitality. The food is incredible and the service first class. Staying for just two nights in Aljezur we planned to eat in this restaurant both nights. Imagine our disapointment after a wonderful meal on Tuesday we were informed they were closed on Wednesday. Then, imagine our delight when the owners told us they would open for us as we had been looking forward to their famous cataplana!! At 9pm, as arranged the two of us sat down in our very own private restaurant and enjoyed the most amazing cataplana, lovingly cooked especially for us. If you are within 20 mile radius of Aljezur then please head to this restaurant for lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed. Remember though it's closed on Wednesdays !!!

Like on my title- the hotel is super basic.
The room was OK, so was the shower.
Breakfast was minimalistic. The eggs were gone everyday after 20 minutes and it took more than half an hour to bring more.
Again, our stay at the Vicentina was satisfying but not more.
It is definitely not a 4 stars hotel.. sorry.
