Beautiful resort with lovely staff, however room for improvement. The room - we had a junior suit garden room with a garden view. The picture on the website is very misleading as the view was not that of a beautiful garden. This should be removed from the website description. We were infact overlooking the pool - we were told this wasn’t a mistake and the room was as described. After my complaint we were moved, however, please note this when booking your room you will not get a private garden. Walking around the resort I would think you would be lucky to have any room with a private balcony area. Other issues - when arriving our mini fridge was broken, despite asking several times this issue was not resolved - I needed the fridge for storage of milk for my 3 month old baby, I found the lack of understanding on this point very disappointing. The baby cot and car seat were old and tatty. Despite this being a brand new resort some of the baby facilities are old, which is worrying to where the stuff has been obtained from ? The first cot supplied was old however, I was provided with another cot which was new as the first 1 was for 6 months +. The smaller 1 looked to be new, however the design to me seemed dangerous. My little girl woke up screaming on a couple of occasions with her foot trapped between the bars. The pools are already showing signs of wear and tear - they seem to have been done on the cheap. They are also not heated. I was really looking forward to taking our baby swimming but it was so cold she screamed everytime we tried to get in. The sea was warmer, however we were put off going in again as a small child was stung by a jelly fish moments after we left the water. The Asian restaurant is an upmarket Chinese restaurant, as a sushi lover we were upset it did not offer any. That said, they did offer sushi in the market on a Friday, which was lovely but personally I would skip Anaya for food. The wine menu is lacking - they need to upgrade the offering. I would think the resort should consider investing in brand new baby car seats for all of their vehicles and new cots for all rooms. The safety of children should not be where costs are saved. Please also heat the pools ! Apart from the above gripes, the views are beautiful, the interior of the rooms lovely, the staff are helpful and food is nice. I highly recommend seasons!

Hotel's Favourite
IKOS Porto Petro is the newest hotel in the IKOS chain and in my opinion the most beautiful. It is picturesquely located on the bay of Porto Petro and beautifully furnished. Wood and other natural materials everywhere make the resort a real gem on the Mallorcan coast. As usual at IKOS, everything is all inclusive. This means you are pampered 24 hours a day. This already starts at check-in. I have rarely experienced such friendly staff in a hotel. Hospitality is really lived from the heart here. The complex is really big without being too obtrusive. There are many nice places to relax and a total of 6 restaurants (mostly a la carte, but also buffet) with food of excellent quality. The whole thing with a view of the fantastic landscape and a wine selection so large that really everyone can find their wine. Super comfortable sunbeds by the pool make you wish you never had to leave again. The rooms are very spacious and the very harmonious style of the furnishings continues here as well. All in all, it feels like home and once you've been to IKOS, you'll never forget the experience!

Wow. Definite 5 star experience. The resort is beautiful. The staff are all amazing. Dimitri at check in and our contact for the trip. And Viktoria at the beach bar. But all the staff were beyond helpful and lovely. All The restaurants were a very high standard the best all inclusive I have been to. (Haven’t been to many as have always found them disappointing). Rooms well Laid out and quite generous. Would highly recommend this hotel

It has already been said and the whole experience really is five star , almost without exception. I could go on and on about the numerous 'upsides' but would only be repeating what others have said. We have no favourite restaurant's as they are all first class but for the shear range of food we found the Market had it all . although it tended to be a little noisier but again they do have a quieter outside area. A couple of things that we found a little daunting was the shear size of the Hotel which is spread throughout two bays and for us is perhaps too large and one of the main reasons why we will probably choose a smaller Ikos or Sani Hotel in the future. The other is that although we knew this is a family Hotel, and we have family, the shear number of very young children was a surprise and something we have not seen in other Ikos resorts . The one thing that this group excels in is staff training and the staff throughout the resort are probably the very best we have ever experienced in very many years of travelling and although we find it difficult to single out individuals we can say that Tasos in reception was a brilliant example of how reception staff should treat their Customer's and likewise Dagros ( spell check please ) in the Fresco Restaurant was a joy to be served by. All in all a holiday to remember

This is our second experience on an ikos holiday, we were picked up by the hotel from the airport (inculded) and greeted by Giannis on arrival who since the first moment has made sure that our trip has been fantastic. The hotel is set over a larger scale then the previous experience we have had, with 5 amazing restaurants each with there unique experience, the food is to die for, the 4 bars again with the unique experience we’re amazing, Porto Petra bar being the best. We had amazing day out in the brand new ikos Tesla, and experienced a dine out all suggested by the amazing Giannis. Giannis thank you for making our experience amazing.

This was our fourth Ikos holiday and our first to Porto Petro. In comparison with the other resorts we felt that it still had a lot to do. There were several problems with our room, wrong orders at dinner, unfriendly staff etc etc.

We stayed at Ikos Porto Petro with our three teens for a lovely and very relaxing week at the end of August, and would 100% recommend this very impressive hotel to anyone - families with little ones, older kids, or couples. The resort is absolutely stunning and immaculate with beautiful views, loads to do, amazing restaurants and incredibly hard-working, friendly and helpful staff. We started off in two nearby deluxe junior suites, which were beautifully done and very clean, comfortable and quiet. Then halfway through our stay, we were upgraded to a two bed bungalow with private pool, which was absolutely amazing! So private, spacious and luxurious, and with our own dedicated concierge. The garden was a particular highlight as it was enormous, with a variety of seating, lovely outdoor lighting and sea views. It really made our holiday! We ate at all of the a la carte restaurants and most were top class (however the service at Seasons was very, very disappointing) but we particularly enjoyed Oliva and Anaya, and the food hall buffet breakfast was a highlight each morning. Wines and cocktails were top quality. The gelaterie also had plenty of choice! We used the dine-out option twice for dinner to visit Es Bergant in Porto Petro (5 mins walk and great paella) and Porto Cari in Cala d'Or (we took the Ikos shuttle bus there and it's situated right on the marina where we enjoyed looking at all the super luxe yachts... and great food in big portions!), and both were very good. I had possibly the best facial I've ever had at the spa and the husband and teenagers were impressed with the gym. They also spent a lot of time at the table tennis tables, where bats and balls were always out ready to play with and they were grateful for the water cooler! There are lots of pools (some for families, some 12+) and different places to sit to choose from. Plenty of sun loungers and fresh towels. Inflatables were extortionately priced in the hotel shop!! The sea was beautiful and warm but the two beaches are tiny and a bit rocky, so that might not suit everyone, but was fine for us. The resort is quite hilly but there’s loads of golf buggies driving people around and we found lots of shortcut paths and steps. This was our third Ikos experience, and we far preferred Porto Petro to Andalusia as it was more spread out and with beautiful views. For us, it was on a par with Dassia. I'd recommend booking as many restaurants and activities as possible in advance, which was easy to do by email, direct to the reception and advance bookings teams. Overall, a fabulous holiday in a beautiful place.

I have never been to an all inclusive hotel , actually tell a lie- Club Med back in the 90s ! Friends and relatives of mine have been going to various Ikos resorts over the last few years and have been urging me to try it out . As Porto Petro was the newest one I thought id give it a go . I wanted to try it outside of school holidays as it was just me and my wife. The bottom line is that I was really impressed . I have stayed in some amazing top hotels in my time where they could really learn from Ikos attentive and slick service . We used the deluxe pool and approximately every 15/20 minutes someone would check if we needed anything ! You don't get that level of service when I'm paying over £1000 per night where drinks can cost £15 a go ! Other hotels can really learn a lot from Ikos - think of the money they could make just by offering guests drinks - who would have known ! and here its all included . The food is quality , the wine and drinks flowing with a fantastic choice nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The quick slickness of service must be commended too , everything served so efficiently . All members of staff were so helpful and pleasant - special thanks to Panos ( I think that was his name ) who really helped us out with a transfer to the airport . We stayed in a deluxe suite and I would personally highly recommend them. The hotel is kind of split into two sections . The deluxe rooms are placed where most of the restaurants and bars are situated . I only ventured to the other side once to visit the spa. In my opinion the deluxe pool was the nicest with Seasons restaurant being right there- great for lunch and snacks in the deluxe bar. I can't remember ever checking out of a hotel with no extras to pay for ! From the great food and drinks , use of the Tesla , eating out at a local restaurant , having a great massage coupled with outstanding service , it was fantastic value for money and now has ruined me for going to another 'normal' hotel !

Absolutely fantastic stay at Ikos Porto Petro. Unbelievable experience taking 5* luxury to the next level! The food Exquisite! Every restaurant was amazing - we ate al la carte for every breakfast, lunch and dinner. Olivia was phenomenal every morning due to the insane views - the evening meal there is also really good. The prawns were our favourite, and as it's all inclusive we had 3 portions each. The beach club for lunch was fantastic. Also, amazing choice of wines at lunchtime and dinner time (The Palm rose, was our favourite - Whispering Angel vibes). The staff They couldn't do enough for us! The second we arrived, we were greeted by our personal concierge, (the AMAZING, Christos) and he ran us through the ins and outs of the hotel. He was also responsible for sorting out all our restaurant reservations and was able to book me a rental car on another day I needed it. Our favourite staff member was Brandon at the Porto Petro bar in the evenings - so friendly, so personable, attentive and he made the best cocktails! Special mention to Viktoria and Nyat at the beach club, super friendly. Agnes and Angela at Seasons restaurant and also Konstantinos. Everyone was amazing but these individuals made it even better. The activities Incredible, got involved in the Pilates, tennis courts, the morning run and the Tesla experience. Such a fantastic facility - wish we did more but some of the physical activities were in the late afternoon - my partner and I are usually quite tipsy by then so we didn't book onto these. The room Was good but could have been better. The only slight let-down in the hotel, for the money paid, it could have felt more luxurious like the rest of the hotel - it was quite basic but our view was that we don't spend a huge amount of time in the room anyway so we didn't let it bother us that much.
