Stayed for one night only before boarding Spirit of Tasmania early in the morning ( it’s only a 15 minute drive away).
The caretaker, Fiona, met me immediately on arrival and was very friendly.
My room (1) was on the first floor and was spacious, well appointed and clean. It’s also a very quiet location.
Fiona pointed out a pleasant walking shortcut into town. It takes about 10 minutes and hits the Main Street at Belly’s where I dined well.
She suggested a breakfast time to suit my ferry departure time and it was excellent.
Good value too.
We stayed here for one night. The house was lovely & the room comfortable with a large bathroom with walk in shower. The bed had an electric blanket which we needed as it was a very cold night.
Breakfast was very nice & freshly cooked to order.
A lovely stay
Lucinda's B&B is just wonderful.
Beautiful 1860s house which has been renovated with great taste.
The room was spacious with very comfy beds. Quality linen and a great arrangement of pillows and cushions.
The ensuite bathroom was very spacious and clean. Included were quality products.
Our lovely hostess was waiting for us in the morning to cook our breakfast which was again very nice. I must day the coffee was fantastic.
We definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking for something a little spot to stay. you will get a very restful sleep as there is no noise at all.
Definatly stay here again if in the area.
From the moment you drive into the lane leading to the house you get a great feeling about the place. It’s a beautiful old building. You are greeted warmly and escorted to you room. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed, comfortable chairs, fridge and tv. Nice views from the window too. Bathroom is functional and has all required.
Cooked and continental breakfast was tasty and included in the room rate.
Loved the place and Lund it to be exceptional value as well. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
We spent two nights in Fiona's lovely home. It is only a short drive from the Ferry to arrive at this great period home with big bedrooms decorated to suit the style of the house with excellent ensuite facilities. Ii is just out of town in a very quiet location & the large garden was in full flower & very beautiful, with parking on site making it easy to access the house. Fiona provided a very good breakfast & was a great help with things to see & do in the surrounding areas.
We highly recommend this as a stay instead of Devonport. Ross & Rosie.
