We stayed for three nights in October 2020. It’s a fantastic property with beach access which made our holiday trip worthwhile.
- Location is in South Goa - far away from touristy places
- Rooms were neat and clean and very well sanitised
- Entire process of self checkin and check out is smooth and friendly
- Social distancing measures are good
- Swimming pool is shut due to govt restrictions but when you have beach cannot complain
- Breakfast has decent options and again the crowd is very well managed at that time
In short , it’s a perfect vacation destination in these Covid-19 times. Safe and because of the sheer size of the property- distance is easily maintained
A late review but it's so special that it will always be in my memory.
In early March, right before the pandemic my parents, husband and I visited Goa for our annual holiday. We stayed with Holiday Inn this time on cavelosim beach. It was rye best holiday ever.
The property is fantastic. The beach is clean, serene with lovely shacks for food. Our favourite was Mike which had sun beds, great food and friendly staff.
The beach is one of the best in Goa.
Coming to the property. It's a lovely landscape, excellent rooms and amazing service. The housekeeping, restaurant everything was so good. The breakfast spread was superb with everything well planned, well managed. The best thing was that although there was a huge wedding crowd the hotel gave them their space and the other guests had the coffee shop. Great management.
Special mention for the chef who made special moong dal kachodi which Jimmy daughter wanted.
The pool was lovely, clean and spacious. We would spend hours in the water.
Even room service was excellent.
The best part was that there is a free shuttle to Fisherman's wharf where we dined every night. Its walkable but my mum was just recovering from a knee surgery and the shuttle really was helpful. Also right near the hotel there are a couple of small stores for knick knacks.
Coming to the most special part. It was jt parents wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something special. The guest relation officer Binita, a smart and very professional lady came up with a lovely plan of a pe9vate beach dinner for my parents. It was a fairy tale setup on the beach with white tent, flowers and candles. There was a private musician for them and he made the evening even more special. The food which was laid out by Mr. Kumar the FNB manager was out of the world. Everything from the nibbles to the desert and cake was so so well organized. In fact the boy serving then Amogh (hope I remember it right) was an expert server making sure the experience was awesome. The whole set up and execution looked like a story and my parents had their best anniversary ever.
It was such great efforts by the hotel staff.
I can't wait to go back and am praying for things to return to normalcy when we can go back to this awesome resort.
It was the best holiday ever.

Pool is very clean, big and very well maintained. Breakfast spread was phenomenal and staff Manning it was very friendly. We found Mr Prasad F and B manager an amazing and friendly person. We had a great experience when we exclusive dinner at Beach restaurant. It was so well organized. The chef Shrikant was at his best and selected best of cusines and the service person Anuj was at his best, always smiling.
This review is for the last 2 days of our 3 day stay in Goa, after changing our room which was pool facing but outdated and noisy, being close to the wedding party that was going on.
Holiday Inn Resort Goa is located with direct access to a lovely clean and quiet beach, Mobor beach
Thanks to the considerate attitude of the guest relations manager Ms Mamta and that of the Front desk Manager Mr John, we were upgraded to deluxe rooms in villa which were very confortable, garden facing with great sit outs with sun bed. It had a much more exclusive feel to it.
The staff was very helpful and despite the weddings that took place even during the next 2 days of our stay, we were not affected much by the noise having been moved to these quieter rooms in the villas. So I would recommend these rooms if you are looking for a superior experience.
The beach is one of the most beautiful in Goa, huge stretch (good for long walks) and it is also one of the cleanest I have seen in Goa. Besides it is peaceful (not many vendors pestering you).
The breakfast buffet has all you need. The grill at the beach side serves good food too at reasonable rates.
Mike's place is worth visiting for dinner when staying here, it has great ambience with live music and is less than 2 kms. Taxis can take you there if you don t want to walk and another lovely place to eat out is Fisherman's wharf, a walkable 5 mins from the hotel.
If you are looking for a value for money stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Just check in advance if there are weddings planned during your stay if you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay..
