We stayed for two nights in May and really enjoyed this place. It is run by a very nice family and the location is lovely, its in easy reach of Sorrento, but also feels off the beaten track. The views from the rooms are stunning, you can see right across the bay. Every morning you are served a lovely italian style breakfast outside your room in the garden over looking the bay, absolutely beautiful. The family who run the place are very friendly and helpful and even gave us a couple of beers from their fridge when we arrived. There is a great (walkable) local restaurant just along the road to which was really convenient.
We have been in Villevieille for two nights. The owner Mariella has been very kind. The location is great because has a wonderful panoramic view on Sorrento and the B&B is well connected with most of the touristic cities around since you have to walk just five minutes to reach the bus stop to Costiera Amalfitana. The room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was included and we had special good mornings with coffee and croissants and the stunning view from the garden.
Very nice B&B. Good location if you want to visit La costiera amalfitana. Comfortable clean room and lovely views. Marinella was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome and gave lots of great advice. To be recommended
Good value for money. What you see is what you get. Room was quite big, all very clean and tidy. Great value for money for 50 euro (double room) with continental breakfast included. Air conditioner is working order which helped a great deal for a chilly December stay.
The hotel is a 30min drive from the main Sorrento city. The owner came to pick us up at the Sorrento port and after the check in we decided to go out to explore the Sorrento city. The nearest bus stop is about 15 mins walk from the hotel and even after waiting for 45mins at the bus stop, no bus arrived. The locals informed us that the SITA buses to that place are not very frequent and there is no set schedule.
We decided to check out and booked the Sorrento Town Suites right in the centre of Tasso square which was an awsome location and the hotel was also very great. But since we stayed at VilleVielle for just 1 hour, the owner was good enough to not charge us for the day and also dropped us back to the city for a fare.
So stay there only if you want to have a relaxing holiday without wanting to go around the city or if you have your own transport.
