Our room was rather large for just 2 people with a queen and a twin bed. Bathroom was spacious as well, AC worked very well and was quiet. Vary basic accommodation was a good value and just fine for one night.
Breakfast was fine and plenty to fuel us up for the drive to Fez.
My friends and I flew in late from Casablanca and arrived at Auberge Tinit well after midnight. We were met at the front door by a hotel employee as soon as the taxis dropped us off and we were promptly checked in. My room was well heated (which is great when it is 30 degrees outside) and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was top-notch as well. Breakfast in the morning comprised of pastries, coffee, and yogurt. It was quite tasty!
From the shaded car parking to the warm reception our first impressions were positive. Our room was modern and clearly recently refurbished and refurnished. The very modern and well-fitted bathroom was faultless. The bed is large and comfortable, and the room has plenty of space albeit a couple of stools and a upright chair were provided, a couple of easy chairs would have been nice. Outside a small terrace with table and a couple of chairs could be used for dinner or breakfast, and with a corner room we were right beside the swimming pool which has more than enough loungers. The hotel is on the way into town from Ouarzazate and so we decided to have dinner at the hotel. A superb tagine with chicken and brochettes came with the mist delicious vegetables. We could have stayed longer and this is highly recommended.
We arrived later than planned to check in and all of the staff were very accommodating to get us settled in our room. The breakfast in the AM was also very good. Auberge Tinit was a perfect spot to stop over on our way to Merzouga. Would come back again!
We stopped here on a toad trip between Fes and Merzouga. We received a lovely welcome upon arrival and shown to a spacious room with a pool view. Bathroom was good. We had dinner on the property which was very good value and delicious. 70 dirham for a beef/lamb tajine and 25 dirham for a Moroccan salad. The man working there had excellent English and drew us a hand drawn map of where to find the liquor store in the town centre so we could stock up on wine which we enjoyed with our dinner. Covered parking. Exceptional service from the smiley waiter at dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was good. Nice pool but too cold to swim in. Good WiFi.
