I highly recommend this place to anyone considering it. As a lifetime platinum member, I couldn't be happier with the location or the property, but most importantly the service. My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year wedding anniversary in October 2019, and upon arrival Kiana at the front desk had already taken care of us and was expecting our visit. She checked us in, upgraded our room to an ocean view, and comped us a cabana for a day poolside. The location is great, because you are on the south part of the island near plenty to do, but can easily access everything including the north side if you wish to drive and stay here the whole trip. There are shops and restaurants a short walk from the property too, (loved Tortilla Republic).

The property itself has 3 pools, including one geared more for adults that is beautiful to watch the sunset from. Lastly, directly across the road is the perfect place to watch the sunset from on the rocks on the ocean. All in all, we enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning!

I could honestly write a short story to describe the perfection of this resort. This place has really set the bar for every single hotel/resort I stay in from now on. I’m extremely disappointed everywhere I stay now because of how spoiled this place has me. The pool is phenomenal. The food at the resorts restaurant is absolutely to die for. The location is perfection. No noisy beach goers... just the sound of the ocean and beautiful music playing outside. There’s a short walk to the ocean where you can go day and night to just stare at the waves crashing against the lava rock. The sky at night is unforgettable thanks to the low light pollution at night. The staff was every bit of what you’d wish. There for you when you need them, but not hovering. The bar Is great too. There was never a shortage of parking. The location is convenient in every way. Like I said, I could go on. This place is well worth the price AND flight from Ohio. I cannot wait to do it all again. I honestly was depressed for about a year and a half after the trip as if I were home sick!

We’ve stayed all over the island and Koloa Landing is our favorite hotel. The only down side to the hotel is that it’s not right on the beach but it’s a five minute walk to the beach so not a big deal. The pool is incredible, the rooms and clean and beautiful. The restaurants at the hotel are great and the landscaping around the hotel is breathtaking. We will be back.

Staff all friendly here. The resort is nice and clean. I was so happy to see that the pool was open. Multiple pool areas to utilize, and there's a small water slide and another large one. Hours on the larger slide is limited, but at least they have it available. There was an "accident" in the pool when we were here, and we were happy the staff closed the pools and disinfected them for an hour before reopening.

We got the two bedroom unit and it housed us fine. I loved the full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Makes it so easy to stay here.

My only complaint is that some of the sidewalks can be a little slippery when wet. Just seemed as if it's more slippery than other types of sidewalks. I thought it was just me at first, but others in our party noted the same.

Location is close to shops and easy you get to other tourist places on the island.

Aloha Jrg808, We appreciate you taking the time to let us know that you enjoyed your stay at our resort. Our spacious villas are a great way to spend a staycation right now and we are pleased that they made your stay that much easier. We will definitely look into the traction on the sidewalks and address that right away. We hope that you will plan a return trip in the near future. Andy Evers General Manager

Spent almost 2 weeks at Koloa Landing and it couldn't have been more perfect. The room was clean and quiet, the pools, so many to choose from, the lone restaurant a gem, location perfect with a short walk to the Sheraton Beach and shopping and restaurants a 10 minute walk away. Every staff member smiled, said aloha and helped with anything you needed. We travel quite a bit and we would stay here again in a second. And what more could you ask for, Kauai and Koloa--a must!!

Yes, Building 11 or 8 is the closest to the walkway, but also closest to the main pool which can be busy and noisier. Building 8 only has studios and 1 bedrooms, so if you are wanting something bigger then you would need to choose building 11. But calling the hotel is the best way to know you are getting what you want. They are very helpful.

Although I was there at the end of the August busy season, we had no problem with getting lounge chairs like many properties have. The weekend of course was slightly more busy but we still found chairs. With the property having two additional pools besides the main one, finding a chair isn't a big deal. My only complaint is that the pools only have a few umbrella's. If I remember right the main pool only had 6 or so. In this day and age of skin cancer worries, most people no longer want to lay out in the direct sun for hours at a time. Hopefully they have plans to add more. You'll enjoy the resort!

Have a wonderful time. We ate on the patio everyday. Its so beautiful and relaxing. There is no table just chairs and a small coffee table. Inside we didn't have a dining table either but we were fine in the patio chairs. We took cocktails down by the pool and never had a problem but I don't know the exact rules about that. I imagine if you called or asked they could arrange something for you to accommodate your needs.
