We needed one night's accommodation near Portree after a need to change our holiday plans because of Covid. We selected Dalriada on the basis of reviews and were very pleased we did so. The accommodation was a good-sized bedroom with ensuite and was very tastefully furnished (although, as everywhere, extras such as cushions have inevitably been removed because of COVID - rightly so). The hosts were extremely hospitable. Breakfast was "continental" with a good choice of options and with generous portions. Dalriada followed excellent COVID precautions. I would certainly recommend a stay here: it is located on an easy-to-find road just a mile or so out of the main town centre. We drove back in for a evening meal but a taxi option would be easy to arrange if you preferred.

Stayed here for 1 night while on holiday. The loft is designed for ease of socisl distancing so separate from the main house. Parking on site. Owner very friendly and helpful. Recommended some sites to visit that we didnt know about . Even left some delicious home baking for us. The loft is beautifully decorated, very modern and clean. Breakfast provided and in the room ready for our arrival. Lots of items to choose from and told to have as little or as much as we wanted. Little fold awsy breakfast bar is a great idea. Would definitely recommend this place and will also stay there again.

Last minute island hop after cancelling our Crete annual holiday due to Covid 19.
What can I say, nothing was too much trouble for our host, immaculate room, coffee and home made banana bread on arrival. Fully stocked coffee/tea tray.
Would definitely recommend.
Whole place is spotless .
Worth a visit .

Stayed here for 2 nights in August and Sally and Robin were great hosts. Very friendly throughout our stay and offered good advice about places to visit and to eat. Room is one of the best we have stayed in, newly refurbished and really comfy. Cake and biscuits replenished daily along with coffee etc. It is about a 25 min walk into town centre which is uphill on way back but dont let that put you off booking here. Would definitely stay here if visiting Skye again.
Small tip if visiting Portree soon, its advisable to book a restaurant for dinner before you go as there were lots of people disappointed at not getting a table for dinner and ended up at the chip shop.

Amazing place with famous householders Sally and Robin. Due the Covid situation, there wasn’t breakfast, but every day, we had a coffe, mild and home cake right next to our door to room :) Robin helped us a lot with beautiful trips arpind the island. Thanks a lot Robin and Sally! Hope see you again soon.
