Large bedroom with sitting area, 3 piece private bath, porch and parking. Keurig coffee maker and beautiful linens. Inn keeper (Sheila) is welcoming and a great breakfast maker. Although we haven't used the other facility I know that there's a "cottage" on the premises as well.
The setting is peaceful and relaxed. What a lovely room with a private entrance, comfy sitting area, great shower, and plenty of local books to browse and get to know the area--a hidden gem of RI. The setting is peaceful and relaxed. What a lovely room with a private entrance, comfy sitting area, great shower, and plenty of local books to browse and get to know the area--a hidden gem of RI. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the sweet little deck. Sheila was a delightful host with great ideas on places to eat and things to do. My sister and I had a fun weekend enjoying small town charm close to the beach and far from maddening traffic of coastal New England in the summer. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

This is a place I don't really want to share..but I love the owner, Sheila and her hound so much--that I am writing. Harmony Home is a working farm--so for animal lovers it's very special. Cows, sheep, ducks, pigs and a horse. There are dogwoods and apple trees and gorgeous flowers all over the property. We stay in the the Vernon Room. It's beautifully decorated and cozy. Great shower pressure! We love the beaches; we explore hidden lanes and find eateries on the water.
We are usually up early; Shelia makes us egg & cheese sandwiches or warm orange cranberry scones and soft sweet butter, fresh fruit and great coffee. After a day of swimming and walking the beach we head home to shower and share some wine on the front porch with Shamus the coon hound (not sure how he spells his name--but he is a character--for dog lovers it's lovely to be greeted with a wet nose @ the screen door!) Every night we enjoy spectacular sunsets at area restaurants and healthy farm-fresh food.
Harmony Home is our place to reconnect with each other and with nature. It's owned by a salt of the earth family; they are generous and gracious and we are never disappointed. If you appreciate solitude and authentic people and you really need to unwind by the sea--or in the vineyards this is the place for you. Thank you to the Brady's for sharing their world with us. We have stayed at Harmony Home B&B during both of our visits to Little Compton, RI. If you like Little Compton, you will like Harmony Home. The farm is located on a stretch of road lined with towering old trees and old rock walls. The B&B itself is tucked into an 18th century farmhouse in front of a barn with chickens wandering about. The room is generously proportioned and has a private bath. It is always spotless. Sheila, the proprietor, is friendly, helpful, punctual but never intrusive. Breakfast is served in your room at the time you request, and it is quite a generous meal and occasionally has culinary touches from Sheila's native Ireland. The location is only 2 miles from the town's largest beach, and near preserves, the village and even a winery. We will be back.

I loved staying at Harmony Home Farm. It is so peaceful. Located in the beautiful town of Little Compton Rhode Island. It's only a short bike ride or jog away from the beach. This is a perfect area for jogs and bike rides. Sheila the owner and her family went out of her way to ensure I felt safe, comfortable and knew how to get around town. I am traveling alone, it is nice to feel safe and comfortable in a new place. The room itself was welcoming, clean and comfortable. I would return often and recommend to any friends or family members.

Pictures are of the local beach.
