Rayba Acres Farm guesthouse is quite possibly the nicest place we've stayed. Hostess was very welcoming, room was clean & very quiet, bed was comfortable. There was a lounge where families could play games, read books, dine at tables, use the larger fridge & microwave. Very accomodating. Nice country setting close to all tourist attractions. Rooms included coffeepot, microwave, mini fridge, wifi, tv. Would highly recommend & would stay at again. Play area outside & access to seeing farm animals also. Reasonably priced.
Stayed here before and was looking forward to this visit. However this time I was told we weren't at the main house but the son's house up the drive. There are an additional two rooms above their garage. While the room looked clean it stunk. I couldn't tell if it was musty or urine smell or just a combination of both. There was a gazebo outside to sit in but was covered with huge spiders and webs. No nice seating area outside like at the main house. Just seems like these rooms are an after thought worg no homeyness to them like rooms 1-4. And oh yes, No WiFi, which is fine but its advertised as having it on the website. I was told this is only for the main house and the son won't give out password for the other 2 rooms. Don't think I'll make a return visit which is unfortunate because I enjoyed it the first time I was there.
This place was remarkable. Located in an Amish area, Rayba Farm is a serene setting in the middle of Philadelphia’s farm country Our apartment was adjacent to a pasture where cows and donkeys grazed. The apartment itself was immaculate, spacious and well-furnished. In one room we enjoyed a king-sized bed, sofa, lounging chair, microwave, refrigerator, TV, a full dresser and bedside table, and a ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed a separate guest lounge and sitting area overlooking a meticulously landscaped garden with a small pond.
We spent 12 days at Raya Acres Farm. While vacationing in the area, this is a great place to use as a base, because everything is just a short drive away. We stayed in room 2. A large and comfortable room with king bed, lazyboy, couch, fridge, and satellite tv. The room was VERY quiet! A beautiful view of the meadow behind the home, and lots of farm animals to keep your interest. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. I highly recommend you stay here
My husband and I stayed at the Farm for the holiday weekend. Our host, Martha, was delightful. The guest room felt more like a bedroom than a hotel room. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The property and view was spectacular. We enjoyed waking up each morning to the smell of morning dew and sounds of birds and farm animals. Rayba Farms is a gem. We will definitely go back. One of the best experiences we had in the 15 years we've been going to PA Dutch Country.
