Got 4 rooms for my crew late afternoon. Check in is slow! Room I was given upon opening door was occupied already. Lucky I didn’t get shot. I returned to front desk to tell the clerk who said oh ok and proceeded to get me another room. Another crew members room had No towels or toilet paper.Have to slam the doors in order to get them to shutwhich makes for a noisy stay. Looks like several rooms are occupied full time as the people hang out in parking lot all hours, complimentary breakfast was below average as well. Definitely not what I would expect from a National chain hotel. We will drive farther next time before staying here again.
Room not clean appliances not in working order pool was green WiFi not working would not address any of my issues I asked prior to booking about the pool the assured me it was up and running you couldn’t see the bottom microwave didn’t work they promised to bring another and never did WiFi only worked by the office room was dirty with beer lids all over floor and towels were stained and breakfast was empty at 7:00 definitely not $100 hotel
Hotel Stay was ok. I wanted a downstairs room but was unavailable. I was given a decent second floor room. Given the choices in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. it is a good value. I hate these programs that require a certain amount of characters. I typed enough and yet this stupid program requires a certain number of characters. YOU NEED TO CORRECT THIS PROGRAM. THIS SERIOUSLY DISCOURAGES PEOPLE FROM GIVING FEEDBACK!
I want this Days Inn's ratings to go up - it deserves to! The reason it's kind of low at the time of this review is because of the past when it was run down. But the owner has renovated it, and the rooms. When we visited recently they were still fixing up the rooms. Ours was done, and it was faultless. New floors and bedding, clean and spacious, with necessary amenities. An iron and blow-dryer were in the room. There was a smell of cleaning chemicals when we first went in, but we used the climate control and front door open a bit to air it out.
The owner / manager was very responsive. If someone is not in the office, all you have to do is ring a little bell and they come right out to assist. The lobby has a few small dining tables and a breakfast bar. Continental breakfast is served - fresh hot waffles and syrup, plastic-wrapped danish rolls, fruit, cold cereal, milk, orange juice and coffee. Waffles were delish!
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we could hear folks stomping around upstairs in the middle of the night. Or maybe it was the contractors. We didn't let it bother us much.
Great location on busy Hwy. 75. Close to downtown Okmulgee. Highly recommended!
OK!!! So the outside of this MOTEL is busted and run down. But, the owner is working on renovations for the rooms. You can tell he's trying but things probably aren't going exactly as planned. I reserved 2 rooms and each were fine for what it was. My appliances worked however the room I rented for my mom and sister, didn't have a refrigerator and the microwave didn't work. The owner is super friendly and engaging with his guests and desires to make your stay as pleasant as he can within reason. He quickly changed out the nonworking microwave for one that did.
It's really not much and obviously needs some updating/upgrading but the rooms are cozy and beds are comfy (mine was). They do need a better washing machine for their towels as they look dingy and stained. However the friendly cleaning lady is glad to change them out for you if you're not happy.
Lastly the WIFI is free but very spotty DO NOT count on it to stay connected even if the signal says strong.
