I have no complaints about the people at the front desk. I booked online for a week, thinking I would have peace and quiet to work, with everything I needed. There is no wi-fi. My laptop can see it, and it has 0 bars. Cannot connect, in any fashion, and because I work online, I would be unemployed if not for my hotspot (which is now also costing me more money). I booked a king room, and ended up in two doubles, which wouldn't have been bad, except that it was dirty. I had to clean the shower before I got in it. The bathroom had little black hairs all over, and it just looked really poorly maintained. The floors are sticky, so bring slippers. I was supposed to have a mini fridge, and didn't. I had to call the front desk for one, and was told "there's no one here right now to bring one". I've never considered calling a franchise to complain, but I may now. Not worth the economy.
Upon checking in the person was short, rude and unhelpful.
They sent me to wrong room, had to climb up and down three flights of stairs carrying luggage and a small child.
Went to desk to get a correction, was given second floor room.
The room had no towels, no WiFi, dirty shower, no bar soap and a door jam falling off.
The sheets appeared to be filthy.
Looked very obvious whoever made bed just covered up old sheets and didn’t bother changing them from prior guest.
The absolute worst “hotel” I’ve ever been into after 25 years of traveling.
Avoid the hassle and third world accommodations of this disastrous place!
I was in the area for a family party and booked this hotel online as the price offered was very reasonable. The hotel looks nice from the inside. Front desk personnel was very helpful. The room that was given to us had a fridge and microwave and all the amenities i needed. For the price I paid, this hotel is more than I could ask for.
This is my first time staying here and had a good experience. Definitely worth trying again. I visit the area once every year, so will definitely come back.
I booked a room on the biggest weekend of the year: Hall of Fame induction weekend in Canton, and the Firestone golf outing nearby too. The hotel was apparently overbooked, with websites continuing to take reservations for them even though they didn't have rooms, but they were working feverishly to fulfill all reservations. I arrived around 11:30 PM and apparently did not have a room even though I had a reservation, but they quickly worked it out for me and said they would take care of it on their end later. It didn't take me any more time to check in than it would have otherwise.
The clientele was fine and were mainly people staying for one of the events, or couples or families passing through on the Ohio Turnpike. I saw no signs of sketchy patrons anywhere.
Booked a room, and once I got to the hotel I was told there were no rooms. trying to get my money back from trip advisor IS BYOND UNCOMPRIHENSABLE. I GIVE TRIP ADVISORS SUPPORT A NEGATIVE 5. STILL UNABLE TO REACH TRIP ADVISOR.
