We stayed there for two nights on recommendations of a friend, Of course the location is very good. First impression as you enter the lobby you do not want to stay there. Lazy staff, No one comes forward to help you with luggage.seems that the staff does not wash their cloths and do not take bath. When they come near they leave a smell.
Dirty linens. Good that we generally our own bed sheet and sheet to cover us.
Rooms are overpriced. Originally I was quoted rates of 2200/-per night but when I got the bill the charges were 3000/- per room. You cannot argue.Place not worth. To reach our room we had to pass the kitchen.Looking in to kitchen we decided not to have any thing at the Hotel. Worst in cleanliness. Would not recommend unless you have no choice. Only positive point is its location say 100 mtrs from city centre. Else for me it is absolutely NO NO.
We are staying in Gracia it is terrible .. dirt everywhere, railway station bathrooms are better than this.. worst experience.. Reception and boys are very bad.. They won't even carry Ur bags to Ur room.. I have to carry it my own.. fans are not working if u take room no 217.. Don't came here it's worst..
Very average accommodation with extreme casual approach from the management.
The hotel is located very close to the market place, the famous police bazar. We landed in the hotel in reference to my fellow companion. From outside, the hotel looks good and decent. The reception lobby was also not bad with nice wooden interiors.
The rooms have decent initial appearance, but lots of attention required from the management for a complete refurbishment. The bathroom was clean, but extremely unorganized. There are big sewage pipes from top floor running through the bathroom, something I have never seen before. The bathroom is with cheap fittings and unplanned installations of things. For an example, in our bathroom, there is no place to stand in front of the basin.
In terms of the price, the room amenities are not at all upto the mark
We had stayed in this hotel located on Jail road near Police Bazaar for 2 nights during our vacation in Shillong. We were 6 adults and we had booked a 2 bedded room & a 4 bedded room for a total price of 7000 rupees. The hotel has no lift and climbing stairs could be problematic for senior citizens. The 4 bedroom was spacious and nicely decorated but 2 bedroom was basic only. The bathroom had hot water geyser and the food in the attached restaurant was just about ok. Main USP of this hotel is its close proximity to Police Bazaar - the main shopping hub of Shillong.Hotel definitely needs better maintenance.
This hotel doesnot deserve to get a single star also. Hotel staffs are jst disgusting. You literally have to beg for towels and soaps. Every time you enter the room there is a rotten smell as they dont have proper dranage system or exhaust fan or windows. All the room are just same some rooms might have windows.
