Weekend away with a mate. Pets pyjamas led us to believe we would be in a cottage with a private hot tub and an enclosed garden. Upon arrival we were surprised to find no hot tub, and bedroom with bunk beds had no working lights. No one around to ask about anything, so we settled in for the night. Walls were very thin, so we could hear our neighbours going up the stairs, walking around etc. No enclosed areas near to the apartment for the dogs to be off lead so every time we wanted to let them out we had to get dressed and take them out. Not very easy to find the walks as poorly signposted and we felt worried we might go through an area where we weren't allowed! On the second day we found the hot tub at the bottom of the car park. Fence had blown down so was being overlooked by a man in a workshop!! Strong winds had also led to the lid blowing off so lots of leaves etc in it. Dogs not allowed to be left alone in apartment so we could not use the hot tub together anyway. Our apartment was overlooking the main road, and with the curtains open left us feeling very exposed, a delivery man actually put his head through the window to ask directions!! Lots of traffic going past us going in and out of the farm. Although we understood it was a working farm there was a flow of cars at all hours which wasn't very relaxing.
Nice apartment, towels, washing up liquid, glasses etc all included, great place to use as a base but we had been under the impression we would have a little garden etc and could use it as a proper country getaway. Apartment got very very hot and temperature not adjustable that we could see so my elderly dog was up and panting a lot during both nights, but couldn't keep windows open due to high winds and traffic noise. Free dog treats were two years out of date as well! Given the issues we are not staying for the final night which is gutting as we'd very much looked forward to this break and spent lots of money on the booking, food and drink to bring etc

Stayed here with my family and 2 dogs in The Tack Room, cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great and there was a perfect little courtyard for the dogs to be in. Lovely little touch with a ball and treats for the two dogs too.
Everyone around the yard and on the airfield was very friendly and whilst walking the dogs this morning they showed us round the planes.
Would highly recommend these cottages!

We have now used Fullers Hill on 3 different occasions- I'm slowly trying to stay in each room possible! From a smaller hen do to a very big 60th birthday with 15 of us staying in 3 properties. The small thoughtful touches and the stylish comfort really completed our stay & made us feel welcomed. I will continue to use Fullers Hill for any chance possible, and I can't wait for the new exciting rooms, cabins & stays to come. Cheers to the team at Fullers Hill & thank you!

My wife and I were part of 12 strong group occupying much of the accommodation at Fullers Hill. We stayed in the Stable rooms. This room was very well equipped and was designed for a disabled person. The shower room was equipped for disabled persons with handholds placed conveniently. We are quite old and appreciated these. The bedding was excellent using duvets of high quality with equally high quality bed linen. The kitchen equipment was first class with plenty of cooking equipment. The sitting accommodation was very good. There are three hot tubs which we did not use only because I forgot my swim suit but the rest of our party made full use of the tubs. A bonus is the airfield which is part of the Fullers Hill complex. There are several old aircraft types located at the airfield. As an aviation buff I enjoyed looking round the airfield. One of the owners of a Fullers Hill was an aerobatic champion. I would have appreciated a coffee cafetière , though there is a coffee machine. Also, instructions for the oven would be helpful. These did not interfere with our enjoyment of our weeks stay. One room has a unique coffee table made from an old radial aircraft engine. However, expect to see farm vehicles around. This is a great place to stay.
