then a wonderful 3 might stay. Our visit coincided with a very busy period for the hotel. On the first night the hotel was hosting a wedding, the second a christening and we were expecting a funeral on the third, but thankfully a group of students arrived!
The first two events certainly meant car parking was a challenge and the wedding meant a disturbed nights sleep given the celebrations lasted until well after three in the morning.
Our room was very well equipped and after the disturbance of the first night very quiet.
The hotel is wonderfully situated for many of the great walks in the Troodos Mountains. We undertook three very enjoyable walks during our stay. One great thing about the walks is they are very well signed with regular distance markers making it impossible to get lost.
In nearly 50 years of worldwide travel this is the first hotel that we have experienced that feels the need to charge for coffee and tea in the rooms. Whilst this is only a nominal charge it would be so much better if it was incorporated in the room rate.
Our overriding memory of this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It would seem that the hotel has been run by the same family for many years and they are obviously very proud of the service they offer. It is their professionalism which mitigates some of the less positive comments above.
We are a couple and stayed in Livadia hotel last week. Very nice family hotel. Very clean and good room. Excellent breakfast.
It is a family business. Recently renovated and it is very welcoming.
We would surely come back if we are travelling in the area !!!
You will need a car as it is between Argos and Kakopetria
Great small hotel for a weekend.had the suite with the double jacuzzi which was really relaxing.complimentary wine and fruit made our day.breakfast was not so rich but it was ok after a night of too much food.overall great experience.
Highly recommended hotel if you want to relax only and disconnect from daily work pressure and stress.
We been there in the winter and we choose a room with fire place which was very nice, and give a different atmosphere,We got the wood logs for FREE, panoramic view over the mountains. The food menu, not very rich, but tasty food, good prices as well, and not the last, very clean rooms.
The hotel is very clean and all the surroundings were very picturesque. The check in was quick and the room were clean also.Everything was really nice offering as what i said a "family" service with warm welcome and willing to serve you.Though the lack of training of staff and the knowledge of the staff was the major issue in this lovely hotel e.g they did not know what variety of chips they were selling or the long waiting for our bills. This is not a complaint it is just a suggestion on what should the hotel do for improving their services.
