This is a very old hotel from 1964 built into the rocks. It is very quaint and pretty and fantastically located at the entrance gates to Petra. It is very well appointed with slippers, robes, toiletries and a queen size bed. Our room also had an entrance area, a couch tables and chair, terrace and a reasonable bathroom. There was a buffet breakfast which was perfect for the long day ahead walking in Petra. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The housekeeping is notary good, they do not replace towels if they take any, or replenish toilet rolls, or toiletries. The other issue is everywhere is smoking, so the Cave Bar is great, but you need a gas mask to survive the evening. But overall I would stay here again if in Petra.
Date of stay: November 2017Trip type: Travelled as a coupleRoom Tip: Get a room above the rocks, I think they are called chalet rooms, as they are huge and great view...
