I went to Jade Hotel with my teenage son in the last week of October, as the season finishes. Its a lovely time to go, Dalyan is quiet but not dead and the pomegranates are ripe on the trees. We shared a room with twin beds overlooking the pool with a lovely view over the hills. Really nice size room, very clean, good shower. Jade Hotel is run by a lovely, friendly couple who are there on hand to answer any questions you have. I really liked the breakfast too, very simple eggs, white cheese (like feta), fresh bread and salad. Because we were there at pomegranate time and the trees are all through the garden there was fresh fruit at every breakfast. On request they also provided yoghurt to go with this which was delicious. We had 3 evening meals there too, amazing value at a fiver a head with a soup starter, meat main and pud, very much home cooked and very nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away to a lovely place, just 5 mins from the centre of town
Furnishings are basic - no frills - as the header says
Clean sheets and towels replenished on a regular basis and rooms cleaned daily
Air con quiet and efficient
Shower hot with good pressure
A functional room with socket next to mirror for hairdryer
Breakfast was a delight - tables dotted about in garden, terraced area next to pool and under canopy - a very gentle affair - comfortable and relaxed. Good selection of freshly prepared food - cereals (surprisingly good), bread, jam, honey, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, ham and cheese, sometimes boiled/fried eggs, cake and very good tea and coffee. Any extra add ons were payable (very reasonable) and available to order.
Sunbeds around pool were comfortable and although there aren't many and the hotel was full for most of our stay we didn't have any issues
Pool is a bit over chlorinated, but pool areas and bar are clean and well tended and Jade and her husband and the lady who helps her out cannot do enough for you - nothing is too much trouble
Area round the hotel is quiet with a few very nice hotels and individual villas. Its a 10 min flat walk to the centre if you go along the road and probably about 15mins if you take the scenic route along the river path - there are bars and restaurants along the way whichever route you choose. It was a pretty much perfect situation for us.
For the price we paid we were more than pleased and would definitely stay again at the Jade Hotel
This was our 5th visit to Dalyan but our first to the Jade hotel. We were a little apprehensive prior to our holiday as it was such a reasonable price. We need not have worried. On arrival Jade greeted us and told us to treat it like home, and that is how it felt. The double room was basic but what do you need, it was very clean and kept clean the fortnight we were there thanks to a lovely lady. Lovely hot shower and room not to small.
Breakfast was Turkish breakfast and was good, if you wanted a cooked breakfast they were very cheap in Dalyan. It was a lovely 20min walk along the delta into Dalyan.
The hotel has only 10 rooms so most of the time we had the pool to ourselves
I could not fault hotel for the price and Jade and her husband are lovely. We would definitely go back and probably will next year.
Dalyan was gorgeous as ever. Thank goodness it hasn't really changed over the years.
The lady who owns the hotel speaks very good English and was accommodating as she could be. She let us check out later as the hotel was quiet (being early May). The room was very basic but clean. We were given a choice of two rooms when we arrived. There was a nice spread for breakfast & she offered to get anything we wanted if it wasn't there. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the town. The area Is beautiful with a nice river and plenty of restaurants nearby. Very happy with our stay here.
We where here together with our 14 pupils from Denmark and we loved Jade Hotel because:
• It is both placed close to the centre of Dalyan, the river and in a quite part of the town.
• There was room for the young people in Jade Hotel.
• They loved the pool and the garden.
• We got a very good service from Yesim, who run the Hotel.
• The room where nice and clean, and we where happy that there was no television.
• We had 2 excellent dinners to a good price at the hotel, and drinks where cheap.
With love from the whole group
