Best part of the hotel is door staff without a doubt and poolstaff. want recommendations to eat out ask these guys. Reception staff are rude and unhelpful, we wanted to post a document to relatives in india, reception sent us randomly down the street to the wrong shop. Got an envelope but no stamp- asked door staff where to get one -2min later they produce 2 for a small charge. Room was exec double, very big with safe and decent bathroom, one day took 5 hours to get room cleaned which was annoying as needed to pack for checkout the next morning. Breakfast before 9 is a joke. noisy, long wait times for coffee, dirty tables. after 9 totally different nice and quiet food all available, plenty tables and hot drinks the second you get a table. Breakfast offering not great think continental with a few indian dishes.
Pool is reasonable for mumbai - freezing cold but great on a hot day. There are loads of birds around the hotel and you will get splattered by them as they fly over. You get pool towels which is a bonus.
Airport transportation doesn’t exist despite being advertised and the reason i booked the hotel. your directed to the taxis outside. expect to pay about 1000 rupees.
If you have a room ending 05 ask to move. these are right opposite the lift doors and we found other guests have no manners shouting and banging their cases against the door when waiting for the lift.
Rooms are clean but need a re fresh. Laminate flooring well worn. Furniture chipped around edges etc but not a big issue.
Don’t misunderstand the hotel isnt bad but for what i paid i think it was overpriced and wish i had paid a bit more for a stay in a nicer hotel on Marine Drive.
