Beautiful hotel with character. Great staff and many graciously included freebies (cold beer and snacks in your room, access to a fancy coffee maker to make complimentary espressos etc) AND a nice bathtub. Lovely lighting and decor in the rooms and a smart tv we could stream to. Sparkling clean. Very good value atmosphere and awesome location. My #1 fave hotel after five weeks in SE Asia changing hotels every few days - so I have a good benchmark!
After the first night we went for a walk around town, after returning we found that $ 300 had been stolen from the safe. The hotel staff opened the cameras and the only one who came into the room was the cleaner who of course denied she stole the money. The location of the hotel is excellent but not worth the money stolen and the agony. Be careful with your money
This hotel is very close to the start of Saturday Walking Street and only about 10mins walk to the bus station. Check in was efficient and the staff very welcoming. The hotel only has a few rooms on the ground level and second floor. The staff member who checked me in walked me all the way to my room. She explained the WiFi, and that all the amenities in the room were free! Not just the bottled water, but the noodle cups, chips, soft drink and beer as well. Amazing! The room is lovely and spacious with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in Thailand so far. There is plenty of room in the bathroom. Breakfast is free and is cooked to order. I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Chiang Rai
Me and my wife, along with our two young kids just recently stayed at the PAH hotel in Chiang Rai, for 4 days. We have been on a trip around the equator for the last few months and we have stayed at a lot of hotels in different countries and I can definitely say that this is one of our favorites. I say that for a few reasons: (1) there was a cool pool for the kids (2) the location of the hotel was good (close to the markets and shops around Clock Tower) (3) the room was quite nice and (4) the breakfast was great. As if all that wasn’t enough, the mini bar was also stocked daily with free Cokes, still water, sparkling water, snacks (brownies, potato chips) fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. That put big smiles on both my kids’ faces. What really took it over the top and put a smile on my face was the fact that it also came stocked with free beer. Really? Is there anything better than sipping a free cold beer in Thailand? I don’t think so. All of this was wrapped up nicely with the Thai décor and charm of the truly pleasant staff. Thanks so much for a pleasant stay.
Small boutique hotel with superb hospitality. Everything in the big fridge in the lobby is totally free and to the minibar in room also free which have soft drink n beers.. Location is quite centralised and walking distance to night bazaar and the saturday walking street is literally next to the hotel. Walking distance to clock tower and many many temples. Everything in room is nice except that the aircon is not really cooling and the ceiling fan is attached to the headlights above the bed, should have separated it will be better. As usual the water is small and slow and housekeeping actually threw away the toothpaste that we only used once and didn't replenish anymore. If wanna throw then pls replace a new one if not how to brush with toothpaste (luckily i brought myown). Hotel provides free pick up from aiport too.
